Totally over subscribed by at least double, Queued for a hour, near front of queue when told a tickets allocated. Given raffle ticket and told to come back in 3 hours to see if any of the 300 celeb guests had not turned up. They where still giving raffle tickets half an hour later to people in the queue, there were that many people who had turned up for nothing. The staff are rude, and just want to scan you ticket to tick a box and show the event organizers who many people they got there. Never again. Cancelled my account

I have been to a few of theses show and I must say that if you are priority you should be able to get in even after 10 min of being late , we had that trouble and the staff did not care.then you have to queue up right to the start even thou we pay for the membership.

I have NEVER been turned away from ANY shows..X FACTOR.. BGT....CATCHPHRASE
...MICHAEL McINTYRE SHOW...CELEBRITY JUICE...THROUGH THE KEYHOLE... and many many more shows. Why don’t you people who complain add PRIORITY to your membership. Applause staff have ALWAYS been polite and helpful especially when my disabled friend is with me. If you have to wait around accept it or don’t go at all. We went to BGT the Champions on 25th July left to get there at 12.00 got back home at 2am. Long day but good day with my family and friends with a group booking .

I very much doubt I will ever receive the refund I am owed from Applause store . Customer service seem utterly disinterested. Wouldn’t touch them again with a barge pole.

I'm pretty sure some of these reviews are written by there own staff after speaking with some of the staff's goings on.
I write articles for certain publishers and found most of the staff are harassed by guests being late on Priority ticket holders.
Not least my experience was queue jumping, miserable staff who did not want to be working and although a priority ticket holder myself and my first experience I was refused entry for absolutely no reason and my colleagues.
I will be warning members of the public despite trying to speak with Applause who are really not Interested as you can appreciate, your simply a number in a queue.

Couldn’t be more disappointed. My friend received an email informing him that him and one guest had been invited to join the audience to watch A League Of Their Own. Was extremely pleased!! Read all the obvious bits and pieces, date, arrival time, dress code etc. To then travel 3 hours only to be told it was full and there was no room for me and my guest, we were extremely confused and later told “all television show tickets must be over-issue by a percentage to compensate for these 'no-shows' to ensure a full studio audience. Due to this entrance is subject to seating/standing capacity & served on a first come, first served basis“.
How they think it is acceptable not to make this way more clear I do not know!?! Staff at the venue were very unhelpful and rude, they should be ashamed they work for such a horrendous company.

We knew that it would be a long day and had to get there early in order to guarantee a seat. We did so and luckily got in. I appreciate that VIP guests get to go in first and have the best seating, however surely it would then make sense for all of the remaining guests who have queued up all day to fill up from the front first??? After queuing all day when we arrived in the studio we got placed right at the back in the far corner with plenty of seats still available at the front. The couple who was behind us in the queue actually got much better seats very close to the celebrity panel behind the VIP section!? Then as more people arrived, those who were much further behind us in the queue got much better seats. A change in how the seats are allocated is surely needed.
It was also disappointing how little the celebrities had to do with the audience. No interaction or thanks is given at all. The comedian used to entertain throughout the day was excellent and prevented what could of been a very long drab day.

Not bad, knew what to expect, could of organised the queue better. Annoying part was people who were at the front waiting for their friends to arrive were trying to hold up the queue. They should of been removed and sent to the back or “arrived together” too much attitude and everyone knows Mo obviously.
Staff were fine they did they’re job. A mega phone would of been better than shouting. Overall good experience. The other bad reviews where people waited for “hours” and didn’t get in is total lies. That simply can’t happen from their placement in the queue. I arrived with 30 mins to doors opening and the queue was mighty long heading up the road to White City and I got in. Stop lying!!

Awful! Turned up 2 and half hours early and the team couldn’t count how many seats were available. Stood outside for 3 hours and was told there’s no available seats for us. Got turned away and then someone running down the road screaming that there’s actually seats available. When we got back there they then turned us away again as apparently the team inside counted wrong. I feel like people need to know basic counting skills if they’re going to work in a place where counting is going to be used. Absolutely abysmal experience.

Had priority tickets for Btg champions, what a joke.
Waited 3 hrs to get a ticket pretty sure we were in the wrong line people in general were getting in quicker than us, getting tickets checked and wristbands on that’s what happens in priority line.staff had no idea. Traveled from Newcastle.when we got in we’re were in the upper upper teir so everything was so small. No tv screens to watch what was happening.if u use this company it’s pot luck were you get.asked a few times and still told we were in the right line. Priority tickets are a joke be warery.

Wow! Where to start! I received an email giving me an opportunity to watch a recording of a well know programme, this really excited me but due to suffering a stroke the thought of not being able to access the show really put me off.
I decided to give General Enquiries a call, I expected to have to go through 20 touch tones options & be left listening to horrendous ‘hold’ music, I couldn’t of been more wrong, the phone was answered after 2 rings by a man named Jake.
I explained my concerns & illness to Jake who couldn’t of been more helpful, he calmly and politely resolved, explained and confirmed my booking. He was professional yet extremely empathetic. I can’t praise him enough. I decided to contact ‘feedback’ to congratulate the company on excellent service, especially Jakes services only to receive a lovely email from a chap called Matthew who again was extremely personable and kind.
Brilliant company, old school values with modern services - restored my faith in humanity!

I got tickets to The build show with applause store I thought it was great because it was a small studio so you was close to the guest. . I got a seat at the front. And it was great you could take photos. Thank you I had a great time.

I can’t fault the show at all! We went to see ALOTO yesterday and the cast and audience were fantastic. A big factor which let the day down was the queuing and not knowing what was going on. I feel there could have been more staff reassuring the people queuing and keeping them informed. We were in priority yesterday and even that felt like a long time of waiting around not really knowing what was happening. Judging by the size of the queue, I can only imagine how many people must’ve been turned away.

Went to see BGT The Champions on Thursday 25th July and my experience was faultless. We arrived at the ticket exchange at about 12.10 and walked straight to get our tickets with only 4 people in front of us and we got great voting seats. All the applause store staff were a credit to their company and did a great job to make sure that we had an enjoyable experience.

Applause Store’s process for allocating tickets isn’t great. Apparently tickets are allocated at random. They also continue to say tickets ‘available’ on their website when they know they’ve already got an excessive number of requests, which just reduces everyone’s chances of actually getting tickets. There’s no reward for people who request the tickets early or have a good previous attendance record (that’s how is commonly done in then US).
Having said that, if you actually get tickets I think their service is quite good. You need to understand that you are not their customer. The production company they’re getting an audience for are their customer. Once you acknowledge that you’ll see things different. But as long as you get there early (if you don’t have priority tickets) and don’t mind queuing for 2-3 hours you’ll probably have a great time. Their staff are young and appear to have a high turnover, but they’ve always been polite and helpful to me.
I’d recommend them, as long as you take all of the above into account.

I took my disabled mother and sister-in-law to a recording of Sharp Jack at the H Club in London. We had priority tickets and were told to arrive early to ensure our entry. So we did: when we arrived there were, at most, six people waiting outside the studio but, since we’d raced across London pushing wheelchairs and it was raining outside, we were ushered into the foyer if the H Club. We were told we’d be shown in first into the studio. And there we waited. After some time, the crowd that had gathered outside was shown into the studio. We struggled down there after I insisted, and were then told that we couldn’t go in...the studio was full. One of the Sharp Jack crew laughed in our faces, we pointed out that we’d been told we’d be shown in first, but another rude crew member kicked us out of the building.
I contacted Frankie Jennings to complain about our treatment. It was clear that the crew only wanted able-bodied audience members who could easily get into the studio. Frankie Jennings eventually replied saying she’d look into the matter. I’m still waiting for the results of her investigation: I’ve received excuses for her not replying and have basically just been fobbed off with platitudes... but no explanation has been forthcoming.
We wasted £55 on the train fare plus £10 parking plus a lot of wasted time. If you received a call saying you have “preferential tickets” don’t trust the fact that you’ll get in to watch the recording. We didn’t. We were just left with a sour taste in our mouths, a bill for tickets and parking, and a Customer Relations Manager who doesn’t seem to care about customer relations. I’d avoid working with this crew at all costs: we were treated with such contempt (as were others in the same situation) that it’s put us off going to any recording of shows.
