A Place for Mom found us a place when the movers were coming and our plans fell through. This should have been my first call - would have saved me so much time. I tell everyone to use this service!

A Place for Mom helped me find a place. They made it so easy. They had the prices and info about each place before I went to see them. They setup the meetings for me and it really made things so much easier and less time consuming.

We were given at least 4 different places to interview for my mother and brother. They instantly fell in love with Country Club Village in Hot Springs. Rose with A Place for Mom kept in touch throughout the transitions and moves and was there all the way making sure we had all the help we needed. Can't say enough good things about A Place for Mom or Country Club Village with all the help each offered and gave to make our family's transition very smooth.

Do very little to assist families and take money from the community the resident has chosen. Families are bombarded with calls and emails. Google is enough to do the research and make the phone calls to set up tours.

Our Place for Mom representative, Paul, was a huge help. Our friends were trapped in an inappropriate and overpriced adult foster care home. He sent us more than 20 options to investigate and provided invaluable advice to me and our friends. They are now in a much better living situation that costs half as much. I don't think we could have pulled it off without his help.

This company words things in ways to screw everyone over but them selves. They will harrass you, sale your phone number to all the assisted livings within the area. You will be called and hounded for months. In the beginning they will even call you up to 14 times in one day. They will use intimidation factors to pressure you into making a decision that will line their pockets with money.... NOT to mention... they don't care about the elderly. Once they get your information they move onto the next suckers who they can scam. They also only work with the most expense Assisted Livings in the area, they state that they pull information on each community such as Public Records and Survey Results, however when survey results come out, they rarely act on any of the issues. Your Personal Health Information is shared with numerous people a s well. Save yourself the stress and stay away from this company! I hope to see this company fall on their face!

I googled Care for aging parents. Thank goodness I immediately received a call from Tracy with "A place for mom". A true God send. Tracy immediately reassured me help was forthcoming.
further calls to Tracy proved fruitful as we set up a plan for getting my parents from Florida to Texas.
Today my parents are settled in a safe comfortable loving place, thanks to "A Place For Mom". With the aging of America baby boomers coming to senior ages "A Place For Mom" is essential for placing loved ones in independent, assisted or total care facilities where they are sure to thrive. Thank you Tracy.

A Place For Mom is a poor player in this industry that needs competition sooner than later. The sooner I can live life without them, the better.

I can't express my thanks enough for the incredible support and assistance I received from Natalie. I have been working on and off with her for over two years. Every so often, Natalie would check back in to see if she could offer assistance, but I never found her pushy. The road to find a good place for my mother has been windy and rocky. At each point she provided a listening ear and advice that was spot on. We had a "false start" with two different placement situations, and thankfully feel that we have found the right solution for mom right now. I consider natalie an invaluable resource and would never have found this memory care facility if it hadn't been for her. So grateful!

Deciding to put a loved one in assisted living can be very traumatic. I was looking for a place for my 93 year old father that had just started showing signs on memory loss and dementia. He was in an independent living community, bu I realized after his last fall that he needed a little more attention. Kimberly, from A Place for Mom, was very helpful in giving me 5 places to start with and recommendations on what to look for. I found a great place, just 6 miles from my house. A Place for Mom took a lot of the guess work out of finding a place that is good for my dad in his final years. He's closer to me and I feel like he's safe.
Thank you, Kimberly, I will definitely recommend APFM if anyone is looking for help.

We are so grateful for the help which Jessica Sherman at A Place for Mom gave us when we needed help. We had been in contact for about two years, and Jessica would call every few months to see how my mother was doing. We had decided on at home care for as long as possible.
When Mom broke her hip last April and Jessica happened to call, the timing was perfect. She helped us find several places to interview and choose from. Her gentle and professional guidance was outstanding and she knew which places would be a good fit for my mother.
I recommend that anyone who may need help in finding a memory care unit to call and talk with Jessica just to narrow down the options and give yourself time to do the visits and ask questions. We are very happy with Mom's care at Brookdale in Pittsford.

At 5000 dollars a month you would expect people to be giving you the royal treatment. Not so woth this place. On move in day the staff was cold znd indifferent. While moving my parents in we receiced NO help. No WELCOME at all. We had to locate the luggage carts with ZERO help from.the staff. The room was dirty and the carpet was filthy. Dont get me started on the dog food that they serve for dinner. Actually, i woukdnt feed that food to my dog!. After lessvthan 2vweeks you have screwed yourselves out 5 k a month for god only.knows howany years. This facility and the staff SUCK

From my first phone call through to my mother's placement in an assisted living facility near me, Donna Talerico was extraordinarily helpful: quick in picking up on my mother's particular needs and concerns (both medical and social), and deeply knowledgeable about all local options. The best possible placement turned out to be one of the first few she suggested. Furthermore, Donna's concern -- for both my mother an me -- was clearly genuine. I'm most grateful to her!

I submitted an online request for information and was immediately called about the request. At the time I was a little unprepared for a conversation but decided to go ahead and discuss the situation with my mom. I was pleasantly surprised with the support, professionalism, and abundance of information that was provided. Matt was familiar with my location and able to provide wonderful direction and help where needed. This was a difficult time for all in our family and we didn't utilize any facilities or services in the end but will be better prepared for the day we will need it. Thank you so much!

The service is free, sure but representatives are EXTREMELY PUSHY worse than a car salesmen. They do not have all the information you need to make the right decision. I used them and may I say what a mistake. They are paid by the Senior facilities and I am sure they recommend the one who is giving them the most compensation. Do it yourself!
Beware when you visit these facilities because they are on their best behavior. The Memory Care at Somerby is AWFUL all seemed great and truly it is not. Now to make a move is not so easy as they really should not be moved around.
DO IT YOURSELF!

Jennifer was so helpful, compassionate and very genuine! My first conversation in was late July. I had 6 places to see in my inbox within 3 days. By August 31, 2019, my uncle was moved into the setting that suits him perfectly!! He is very happy, making new friends, and participating in things like bingo, and making decorations, more than I ever expected!
I would definitely recommend Jennifer and A Place for Mom to anyone!
Thank you very much!

A Place for Mom is a very good service, indeed. Although we, the family, did not go with a facility recommended by A Place for Mom, the service did offer many facilities to research and visit. I found A Place for Mom to be courteous, friendly, and caring. Bravo.

The service is helpful, but I reached out to Dovid with a question and although I never talked with him at all I was bombarded with phone calls & emails from over a dozen places close to me. This is harassment. Since my brother & sister had to asked to him previously they too got all the calls & emails. I didn’t give permission to him to do this and he didn’t know what I even wanted. If you want every senior center in your area to contact you then this app is for you otherwise look on your own.

I called & spoke to Claudia Keckler, a Senior Living Advisor. She was so helpful. She took down all the important information & within minutes I was getting the answers I was seeking. Their service is so helpful & within a very short time I was being contacted by a number of prominent and highly reviewed facilities that best suited our criteria. It was so nice for them to contact us because we had already been mind boggled by so many computer searches. How nice it was to have facilities already weeded out & be given a short list of quality places in the part of town we requested. Thank you for helping us quickly and caring enough to follow through to make sure we landed in a place that we were happy with. A++ Service & Satisfaction

One of the most cold hearted, money-grabbing companies I have ever had to deal with.
If you ever call them for ANY reason of ANY kind, they now own you and everyone in your family and will legally go after any commission they can snag off your loved ones banks. Any time someone in your family moves into any senior housing or assisted living, they will claim them for literally thousands of dollars of commission each time they move until the day they die. Their entire structure is built of of 100% commission regardless of how much they have helped you or not. This is why many assisted living facilities have rejected them and dont use them anymore. They claim to care for seniors, but literally just claim a stake in their moves. I have talked to dozens of them and I'm sad to report that i have yet to find a single one of them that care about seniors more than money. Management is the worst as they are so money oriented. Each time your loved ones move they claim upwards of 95% of youd lived ones rent, which means the place thst is actually carrying for your loved one is losing money for the first 70-90 days your loved one lives at their new home.
Many people unintentionally use their services because they will Google the location of homes and not know they are clicking on A Place For Mom website. They are set up as predators. They will even claim to be the location you are seeking and not their own company.
I would advise to stay far away from them as any good and honest and reputable assisted living communities will NOT use them, which means they will steer YOU away from all the good ones unbeknownst to you.
