Our experience with Anchor Law Firm has been atrocious. On the few occasions we have reached out to speak about our account, we have not received any information and the next rep was never able to pull any notes from the previous call. Two weeks ago, I called to look at our account, Global Client Solutions was unable to access our records. I then called Anchor, who tried reaching out to Global, only to tell us to call back in. I sent 4 emails, on 12/26,12/31, 1/3 & 1/7, I never got a reply back. I only received an email when Global was unable to draft our monthly payment. I let them know, along with Anchor, that we will hold off on making any payment until we speak with the negotiator of our account. When I spoke to customer service on Tuesday 1/8, I was told to call back in 2-3 days if the negotiator has not contacted me. UNEXCEPTABLE. We will be reaching out to Connecticut's United States Senator, Richard Blumenthal, if we are not contacted by someone, not a customer service rep, who can explain the progress and future of our program.
Received a email(see below) from Anchor moments after seeing their reply back to my comments below. Again, just a lack communication on Anchor's part.

I paid off everything - $ 23,669.76 in just 1 1/2 years for a 4 years program. I am being sued by AMEX for the second time and nobody can fix it. American Express sent me many emails that "I'm missing payments". I thought would be a lot easier work with Anchor but it's been a nightmare . No one knows what's going on. Last Saturday I got 2 letters from Superior Court. My question is: can Anchor Law do something about it?

I would definitely recommend them. The communication amount is just right and they're very polite. Always willing to help when I have questions.

I finished paying Anchor in November after 3 years and $54,000. A law suit that began in August was never settled and Anchor never told me. Now my employer is about to start garnishing my wages to pay off $24,000. When I contacted Anchor, I was told I only had $5,000 left in my account. This is now somehow my problem. If they have to pay out of their own funds because they didn't do their jobs, then so be it. Or I will have to hire another attorney.

The customer representative is always cordial. I am just frustrated that whenever I call in it is always call back in 5-7 days. This process with US Bank is taking longer the usual to get hel with.

Was unsure about calling creditor and submitting payment after speaking with them when it should go through electronic submission. I may have signed in 2018 but that was a long time ago. She helped me understand and went above to clearly understand

My wife and I have encountered some difficulty in the past getting answers to questions and finding clarity. The agent I spoke with today lifted all the fog and we are both immensely appreciative! He was both knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I regret I do not recall his name, but he took the time to answer each of the many questions I had, and dispelled a lot of confusion and wariness my wife and I had been feeling at this point in our debt repayment program. Thank you again!

Anchor Law Firm is exceptional. I've been in program just over two years and they have helped me every step of the way. I have had positive professional feedback, advice and guidance from the team at Anchor. I have settled on multiple credit card accounts and received all my settlement letters and paperwork. This firm is great. I highly recommend that you consider using this firm if you want to consolidate your credit card debt. Extremely diverse in all aspects of the steps needed to get you a great end result with the credit card companies. They are doing an awesome job with my account so far! 5 Stars

I was told an e mail had been sent explaining my pay off amount. No e mail received as of now. I also do not know how you came up with the $ amount. Approximately $3,000.00 more than I expected.
My scheduled payments to you through 2/22/2022 amounts to $14,487, and now you're saying I owe $20,893? Why the difference?

I still haven’t gotten any response after an account went to summons, then judgement, and still nothing from any attorney. Apparently it hasn’t even had one assigned to it is the same lip service I keep getting from customer service anyway. Thinking that maybe my account is irrelevant to them.

One star too many. They have lied about every transaction. I even gave them additional money to pay off creditors and it just sits in an account. I have called multiple times and they just say anything they can to get me off the line. They should be shut down.

Anchor Law Firm are Scam Artists!
I have called multiple times, and sent emails, requesting a pay off quote.
Email says to call.
On hold for hours, the voice on the line says to send an email.
They have responded to 2 of my emails with "Request for Review Declined". What??!! How can you decline my request to review my own account? I have copies of all these emails.
I think they don't want you to pay off your account (even though they send newsletters every month inviting you to send extra money to "graduate" early). They want to keep you enslaved as long as possible to make as much money off you as possible.
I greatly regret getting involved with these people.

So I'm sure if you are reading this you are in the" program". I was in the "program" . I won't bore anyone with all the details. I stayed in because I wanted to settle my debts, in spite of all the signs it was a bad idea. All the negative reviews I read , all the same things happened, getting sued and Anchor did NOTHING. Continued , as they requested to send in documents my creditors mailed to me. Just a waste of time. You can't get anybody on the phone, but if you do it's the same as talking to a kindergarten child, with all the don't know why that happened and I'm not sure why nobody called you back. YOU WILL DO MORE WORK THAN THEM, from chasing them around to paying debts off out of your own pocket. Best advice I could give is stay away from these places. ESPECIALLY ANCHOR. I would need three pages to describe how bad they are. I hope some of you listen to what I've said here. It's in an effort to help anybody else. Look at what the others are saying. Look at Anchors response. It's exactly the same every time. People need to take these reviews seriously. I will be hiring an attorney to recover my money, as others have stated.

Once again I have called to address the garnishment of wages while there is settlement and you are making agreed to payments. Sun-trust has received more than $13,000 the agreement as understood it was $15,000. However, the garnishment is based on court order for $23,000. Which one amount am I paying off? The letter I received thru Anchor did not state the number of $625 payments I was to make nor amount of balance I was paying off. Since that information was missing I would NOT sign the agreement letter from Sun-trust’s attorneys. I was promised the negotiator would get the letter revised in mid October 2019. I have made numerous calls in which customer service... where your agents tried to contact the negotiator and waiting on hold only to be told he would call me. And many calls were not been returned. I believe that 3 calls have been returned with promises to contact Sun Trust’s attorneys with follow up to insure that an answer would found.

Thanks for asking me to write a review. A few years ago I received a letter in the mail indicating that I could consolidate my unsecured debt. I had accrued the debt as a result of the 2008/2009 financial mess. My interest rates were/are jacked to the legal limit and if I paid down any debt to get ahead of the curve my creditors would cut my ability to borrow - so I was always maxed out and had no breathing room - financially speaking.
I responded to the solicitation.
I did not qualify for a loan - no surprise.
I did qualify for modification - which is not an easy process but what did I have to loose - just the more of the same.
Now a few years into the modification with Anchor Law - I have settled with a few creditors and in a year or so the modification will be over and that will be that.
You will pay a fee for the program - but nothing is free so it is part of the deal.
Anchor Law is a serious company who knows the do's and don'ts of unsecured debt modification.
Good luck to you if your trying to figure out how to get this portion of your financial picture figured out - and Anchor is worth a conversation.
