Fantastic service. I spoke to Collam at Ancestry and he couldn’t have been more helpful. I appreciate that they are there to sell and are trained but I felt that he went over and above to help me. He’s a credit to your company.

I Cancelled by subscription and was billed anyway.
the cancel membership button timed out, i didn't notice. when i saw the bill i tried to re cancel and it repeatedly timed out. i think it is a deliberate design flaw.

My cousin has been researching family tree for many years, so I decided to get involved and ordered a DNA kit. I tried to complete it with total frustration on the website. Contacted call Centre 17/07/2019, I was calling from Australia.
Spoke to Bianca, who resolved the problem immediately and arranged for a replacement kit to be sent.

Although the issue has not been fully resolved, it seems that the problem may not be a Ancestry problem but with another program I use in conjunction with Ancestry.

I signed up for the free trial. I cancelled in plenty of time I was billed. I rang spoke with Owen who saw my cancellation - could see no reason for it not going through but cancelled it again and organised a full refund. Took all of 2 minutes. Every company can have an issue, it is how they handle it that shows the honesty of the company. 100% FULL MARKS TO OWEN AND ANCESTRY. Would definitely consider rejoining some time when I have more time to delve into this.

I have to give top marks for Aisling yesterday. My yearly renewal was due to go through on automation.When I checked my bank statement online it had charged me in US dollars and not AUS. The converted rate was horrendous,plus a foreign exchange charge from my bank.It was then that I phoned up and Aisling gave me great comfort immediately cancelled that and advising it may take about a week to get credited back from the US Ancestry.com.I then asked if I could pay for my normal Ancestry.com.au while she was on and that was easily fixed.I think the error had occurred because I had ordered a DNA kit from an email special that came from USA.So just be aware of this if ordering one.
