My latest debacle with Amazon involves Prime. I cancelled my Prime account because my phone provider, EE, offered me Prime Video free of charge for 6 months. However, several attempts to access this failed because Amazon would not allow me to do so as I'd previously had an account that I paid for on the same email address.
EE said, "you're not the first to have this problem and you certainly won't be the last. It's something Amazon need to resolve". However Amazon repeatedly send me the same reply telling me to go back to EE, even though I explained in detail that EE's system is working perfectly and it's Amazon refusing to let me log on. The latest message was the same, with the addition of a note refusing to discuss the matter anymore. I'm now attempting to raise an official complaint but I don't expect success. Appalling.

Poor fulfilment (had the same high valueorder mis-delivered twice).
The order was supposed to contain two devices. The first order contained only one. I complained and was told to purchase it again and return the old one when the new one arrived. The new order arrived and once again it contained only one item. I contacted Amazon, they said I could not do anything but return both items; which wouldn't work as they'd be incomplete returns. I contacted Zyxel they said they'd refund one purchase. Then a week later they said no I need to go back to Amazon. I am now trying to get a resolution from Amazon. I finally have the product I paid for, but I've paid twice. The whole fiasco has been a monumental waste of time and energy; plus I still do not have a resolution.
