Bought a gpu from amd rx5700xt.
Keeps crashing multiple times a day.
Because of a software issue
The retailer does not have tech support.
Amd does not support customers and tells me to contact gigabyte.
Gigabyte doesnt answer my request.
So 2 weeks old gpu and no warranty.
Five hundred euro gone.
I have had many AMD processors. They work great and I have never had any difficulties with them.

I've always been a faithful user of AMD since I was a child, where my first laptop had a turion CPU (I believe, it's so long ago I might be wrong). Other than that I've had the Athlon II
, and the Phenom II. Unfortunately, I have a intel 6700k CPU at the moment, but this betrayel can be explained due to the fact that my old computer broke down a few months before the first ryzen CPU's came out,

Official website of great hardware company which now gaining popularity again and bombarding the people on absolutely possible levels smashing Intel and Nvidia on both fronts, it's really hard job to compete with titans of hardware.

Unfortunately, I have a intel 6700k CPU at the moment, but this betrayel can be explained due to the fact that my old computer broke down a few months before the first ryzen CPU's came out, and because I couldn't be without one for that long I had to buy it. However, I've never had any other GPU than AMD, and I never will due to the fact, that AMD does not employ shady business tactics like nvidia, and their products have never failed me.
The auto detect tool downloaded drivers for a 580x graphics card, my graphics card is a 390x and it has blue screened my pc
I've run every test possible and my graphics card is damaged due to this, not through my own fault
The customer service email are being very difficult in helping me, I'm at a loss and without a PC
I'm very unhappy with the fact auto detect tool messed up this bad and that I can't get help as they frankly are being quite dismissive
In the current coronavirus crisis I need my PC to work from home and I'm completely frustrated with this whole situation

modern CPU and GPU arhitecture with best value. Better choice then intel and nvidia, more powerful chips then competition with better value.

Best company simply, they recovered from the punches Intel and Nvidia and all other related companies did to them and now making it totally in other spaces of the world anyway for all possible reasons and cases. Hopefully we can win there simply.

I use the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and I it's working just fine for me. I use it with an MSI motherboard and a Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB which runs the games I want at max graphics and no lag. I am very happy with my puchase.
Many say that AMD is a poor man's Intel. They're not completely wrong, it is much cheaper but you get a good processor for that price. My processor is a 3.6 GHz and I have an SSD for my windows 10 so I get a fast start up and quick responses. Chrome doesn't faze the CPU so I can't complain for such a great price.

I've had the HD5750 which worked like a charm, the HD 7870 which was a beast for the money and currently an rx 480. People complain about drivers and what not, but I've heard just as many problems coming from AMD's competitors so I don't see why that's a problem, humans are not perfect and therefore neither software or hardware can be. I've always been a loyal fan of AMD and I continue to be so, I'm also contemplating on e-mailing you to get some awesome stickers for my next pure AMD build. Thanks for never letting down a gamer with a budget :-)
EDIT: Grammar and improved readability.

Seemingly unable to release finished products, apparently use interns to write their driver software and refuse to acknowledge widespread issues with their products.
Never buying AMD again.

I'm a part of team red...again. I was a member of team red during the athlon days, but amd just couldn't keep up with intel anymore. I'm back now, because the offerings from amd now are so hard to overlook. I just finished my rig and it's cool as hell, for less price than if I went the intel route.

I bought an AMD product from Overclockers. Overclockers didn't supply it as it should have been and after appealing to AMD they were helpful, they went above and beyond.
Kudos to AMD customer service.

AMD used to be a trash manufacturer, but they've really been developing some groundbreaking stuff lately. Ever since Ryzen's introduction, AMD has been nothing but the best. Let me tell you some of the things that you should know about AMD vs Intel showdown.
AMD Ryzen wins in terms of core/thread count. In fact, AMD kinda forced Intel to enable more cores on their 8th gen and 9th gen Core series IN A RUSH. What happened with Intel after that? Well, of course they had to deal with heat issues. Their architectures clearly aren't as efficient as AMD.
Price-wise, it's clear who's the winner. There's no argument to be made here.
IPC-wise I believe it's still Intel even against Zen 2, but AMD has already closed the gap so much that their superior core and thread count makes you unable to feel the slight IPC difference.
Now, perhaps the most controversial of this all is the "TDP" aspect. After all, AMD and Intel measures their TDP differently. Intel measures their TDP on Idle, while AMD measures their TDP under heavy load.
What does this mean? This means that when AMD lists 95w TDP, then they really mean it. It doesn't mean that the CPU will never go beyond 95 watts, but you can be confident that it won't go too high. It means you can effectively design an efficient cooling system for your AMD CPUs without worrying about things like inaccuracy etc. etc.
Meanwhile, when Intel says 95w on their TDP, you ought to go out of your way to build a more advanced cooling system for your Intel chip because trust me when I say that Intel's actual power draw may hit 120 to even 150 watts.
So, in terms of pure power efficiency and EVEN honesty here, AMD is the clear winner. AMD is also a lot more consumer-oriented as can be seen by how simple and universal their platforms are.
Call me a red team fanboy, but I'm just stating my honest opinion here. Yep, these are my opinions, and I'm not saying that these are the truth. I just hope people would see how evil and bad Intel is and go for AMD instead because seriously, you probably won't go back to Intel once you've tried AMD.
To end this review, let me just express how much I love AMD. Ever since the first generation of Ryzen, I've been freed from Intel's clutches, and that's a great thing! I love AMD, and I probably will keep loving them for a very long time.

BUY their CPU's they are amazing.
DON'T BUY their GPU's they haven't even got the drivers working for my 3 year old rx480 yet. With a performance like that I just cant trust them for GPU's
It's almost like they are only really trying to make decent CPU's

Worst GPU, I bought it in march 2019, crashes about 1-2 hours of game time, very annoying, dont recommend their gpus, I am not sure about their cpus since I have an intel. Support is terribe, they never answer anything.
I may change my mind if I can fix the constant crashing, but at the moment, I rate it bad.

Called AMD support to check the status of my Processor and get sent to the HQ in California. I tell them they never gave me a name to check in with because AMD goes off of First and Last name. They then tell me to contact the person I sent the part to which I just told them I never got and the email I got an email from [email protected] which i told them and they still told me to use the persons email that got my part. They were extremely rude and not helpful at all. Then when I asked to be transferred to sales which they recommended they said okay and hung up on me. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
