Amazon is very handy specially to a person who wants to buy imported goods and the exciting part is that you can actually buy it online. The delivery is good you just need patience if you choose the lower price delivery charge.

Having a large CD and DVD collection I needed to pare down I chose Amazon as the place to sell them. It was an expensive and stupid mistake!
Amazon treat EVERY seller as a business, for which they ask you for an enormous amount of irrelavant information that most 'ordinary' sellers would not have, myself being one of them. As a consequence I was NEVER ABLE TO LIST a single item for sale as my account was never fully operational.
Even so, Amazon TOOK the £30.00 monthly subscription (£25.00 plus VAT) from my bank account, even though I had not actually used the account they made near-impossible to set-up and use!
To compound matters, they also make it virtually IMPOSSIBLE to contact them directly to discuss the issues, giving you the 'runaround' their so-called 'help' boards, which left me frustrated and angry.
Instead of earning the few extrra pounds I hoped to by selling my stuff this experience has actually COST me money and I'm now worse off than I was before I started!
I would urge anybody thinking of selling 'odds n ends' on Amazon to think again and use another, better-known and more user-friendly selling site. Amazon are NOT in it to help you unless you're a major seller.

Amazon are ridiculous, they do not understand basic questions and continually close unresolved issues as they cannot deal with simple queries. It’s taken 3 days and repeated messages reiterating my complaint and they keep replying with unrelated answers. Appalling, I give up.

For companies like Amazon there should be an option to give NO STARS.
Their so called customer service is beyond appalling.
Placed an order and paid extra for urgent quick delivery. Didn't receive a despatch notification even up to the day it should have arrived. Contacted them and was told two different reasons by two different people. Then they cancelled my order!!
Beyond useless and have no clue what they are talking about.

I tried to set up an Amazon seller account. After I'd agreed to pay the monthly fee, they then locked me out of my account with a verification process it was impossible for me to get through as I didn't have enough devices. Apparently, for the sake of data security, I have to use a device I have no control over, belonging to someone who might not be available when I need them.
Every way of contacting Amazon seems to end up at the same customer service line, who can't help me. The only way to close down an account that won't let me log in is to log in, and there's no-one more senior I can talk to.
I have cancelled my subscriptions to Prime and Audible, and removed all payment methods from my Amazon account. The card I used to start setting up the seller account expires in a month. If it's not sorted soon, the problem solves itself. Shame really, Amazon is the only online seller with couriers worth a damn. But if you're going to insist on trapping me into paying for a service I can't access, well, bye.

As a long term user of Amazon and as a Prime account I really thought I would have gotten better treatment.
A parcel which was promised to be delivered on Friday 23rd August still hasn't arrived today 4 days later. Even though Amazon except that the fault is completely theirs - they initially turned up at the commercial delivery address at 18.45pm which is way after the Marina office had closed and promptly sped away leaving with a text to say "sorry we missed you".
I phoned Amazon who said and then confirmed in an email that the parcel would be delivered tomorrow. It wasn't. I called again and was told it was because Amazon don't deliver to commercial addresses over the weekend. So nothing on Sunday even though another representative said she would get the local delivery agent to call me. He did but went onto explain that he had hundreds, which later changed to thousands of parcels so couldn't find mine. Of course today, Monday is a bank holiday and so nothing again. I made one final call to customer services and asked if there was any possibility of me meeting with the courier and to get the parcel that way. It wasn't possible of course.
So now because of Amazon I have wasted an entire long weekend without the components I needed to complete a project on my boat.
I understand that the local delivery people are probably on the minimum wage, zero hour contracts and are probably run ragged by demands Amazon put on them - and that I really ought to feel more guilty than I do about enjoying the usual next day delivery but all the time knowing that eventually someone is being treated and paid like a dog to achieve this convenience.
And because of this miserable experience what I have now come to understand is that just like so many online organisations Amazon works hard at presenting an illusion of friendly customer facing services and customer relations, but in reality the smiley, concerned voices you hear every time you call are working for a hollow, soulless organisation who's lack of real care and values are making me seriously look at a more ethical alternative to buy the things I want and need.

Hi I ordered silk-epil epilator form amazon this week and they email me that will be dileverd 13.09 today at 9:00 am i was at home waiting as i got other deliveries from ebay simply ringing door bell but from amazon i got notification that my item is delivered on my front dooror porch and that it,i went out and nothing,went to mail box nothing,run around building checking entries and main gate-nothing ...please can you let me know what should i do now,i sended e-mail to costemer service and twitt it. I've had the miss fortune of dealing with chinese sellers on Amazon. I bought a door bell which had no key. I contacted the seller to be ignored. He didnt address the issue so l asked for a label to return this. This also was ignored! I then escalated as l couldnt get any sense from this seller, who then said he was going to refund my money! But didnt! told me to keep the item, which was pointless as it had no key to open the back so was useless!I asked for my refund and was ignored. I then left negative feedback which was rejected by amazon. I then got an email from the seller saying if you remove your negative feed back we will refund you! 🤔 blackmail! I wrote back to him saying my feedback hasnt been posted. He then returned with a comment good luck getting your money back from Amazon!
I wasnt happy! l telephoned customer service explained everything I'd escalated the action. She just fobbed me off didnt report the seller for clear blackmail and l left feeling rather annoyed. Then today l got an email with your judgement l had to return the item at my cost to be sent recorded! Back to a po address in the uk! I telephone spoke to an appalling customer service women Shannay and asked to speak to her boss XAjon he Was appalling to saying l had to pay and claim back the postage! I said no! I'd like a pre paid label he wasnt interested in what l had to say was rude and unhelpful l pointed out the law and the fact the seller was trying to blackmail me!
l asked to speak to his manager and was given an email address!!! I am seriously thinking of cancelling Amazon. I will be going on several media outlets to warn ppl not to buy products from china and to deal with Amazon! I'm beyond disgusted I'm disabled! Followed your procedure! Your email stated l had to pay for postage and no ref to a refund! Amazon is clearly a dodgy outlet for sellers sending items with missing parts then trying to blackmail the buyer! In the mean time I'm out of pocket!

This place is a joke.
Warehouses are run by immigrants who don't understand Western integrity and honesty. All my shipments got lost in the warehouse or should we say rather stolen. Nobody took responsibility, no reimbursement, a big waste of finances and energy. The whole operation is a joke. They will cater to you if you are a giant, not if you are an individual seller. Good luck sinking,
