I had the worst service from Alm,Brand... one person say something and go on sommer holiday then another one say something else and refuse to help by saying sorry we cant do anything before her college come back from holiday.
My shop had break in and i call them many time and i wrote them many mail and they push me to order the same things get stollen from me and now i have to pay for the new things with out the insurance pay me my money and i dont have the money to pay the new order i made.
insurance should be in my side to help in my bussnis not to destroy my bussnis, i am very disappointed.

I have been asking for tax papers for SKAT for more than 2 weeks now but haven’t received anything. Alm. Brand Bank just doesn’t care.

I been a business customer for a few years now at Alm Brand. I have never had an accident or needed to make a claim on any of the insurances. But the 2 times I have actually needed them either for getting a Certificate of insurance or expanding my insurance to other areas of the world - then the lack of structure in this organisation becomes clearly visible.
In both cases I had to call them again and again day after day to follow up on my inquiry because for some reason they don't have the ability to get back to their customers as they promise.
Even getting a simple Certificate of Insurance is a struggle. Called them twice. Both times I am told they will get back. They don't get back. I find the direct number for the department and call them up. They tell me they have send the answer to the support guy - and then the support guy never came back to me. So what's the answer? We can't make any changes of the certificate.
Okay? So they can't accommodate even small and absolute basic request. Apparently this company isn't fit for either support or delivering insurance to companies having operations outside Denmark.

Case handling takes forever and their customer support is rude like hell. It would take me all day to go through all the issues we've had with this company .. But the 1 star is pretty accurate in terms of the service level they offer.
We used both their Insurance company and the bank - Worst decision ever made.

It feels like no one cares
I am living in a row house where all the sheds were built next to my house at a 0,5 m distance.
It happened a month ago that the man who takes care of the common area, accidentally set the sheds on fire. All 9 sheds got burned and so my house. The roof, one window, fences, trees in my garden got damaged.
After calling 3 times to Alm Brand I finally got the place cleaned up 3 weeks after the fire incident.
Now I am trying to figure out what will happen with the house. I don´t know who to call. If I call the customer service I am told to call the appraiser. The appraiser is very busy and if finally I manage to get hold of him, he says that somebody will come to measure up the damage and work. Once a man came to measure the humidity in the house and since than nothing happened.
Since we have a common insurance for the row house I can not log in to "Mit kundeoverblik" with my nem ID. It should be actually possible to access the Alm Brand account for everybody who lives in the row house. We all pay the insurance.
I don´t want to be inpatient. I just want to get my house fixed and enjoy the garden again. It would be nice to be informed what and when is the next step.

My car was badly damaged in an accident, and Alm Brand were pretty unhelpful in processing my claim.
First, when I called to tell them about the accident, and request that the car be transported to a garage (it was undriveable) I was passed between various departments as no-one seemed to know if it should be the insurance department or the roadside assistance department who should help.
After the tow truck had taken my car to a garage that Alm Brand selected (quite far from my home) they told me that I need to ring the garage when it opens (accident was on a Saturday).
So I ring the garage and explain the case, and they tell me that they need to wait for the assessor to come. After a few days wait, I ring Alm Brand again to find out what's going on, and they tell me that I need to ring the assessor myself.
When I (eventually) get hold of the assessor, he tells me that the car is a write-off (which was already to be expected) and we have to discuss valuation.
Once that's settled, I am told that I have to deliver the registration certificate to the garage.
Nothing happens for a few days, so I call Alm Brand.
It seems like they couldn't really care less, "maybe I can see if anything's happened in your case....oh, yes, we have the assessor's report..." (4 days after I agreed the valuation with him) "...and your case will be processed when we get round to it."
I have been without a car, and without any compensation for over 3 weeks.
It feels like I have to do all the work to make sure the case gets processed, and if I am not calling them every other day to find out what to do next, nobody from their side would do anything.
OK, so their prices are OK, but don't expect a rapid payout when you suffer a loss. If I had been reliant on my car for work, I would have been screwed.
Speaking to other people with other insurance companies, I hear stories where they report a loss, and the money is in their bank account within days, sometimes within hours. No such luck with Alm Brand.
To Alm Brand, if you read this:
Try to figure out how to improve your customer service/claims handling department so that the onus is not on the customer to do all the legwork.
For example, if you find that your staff are frequently telling the customer that he/she needs to do such-and-such or needs to call so-and-so (different department, the assessor, the garage, etc.) then that is probably a sign that your processes are not good enough.

This is a review relating to Anders Fangel Hansen. As I in the end opted for another insurance company (unrelated factors), it is is hard to comment on anything else apart from my contact with Anders F Hansen.
He was very helpful in clearly breaking down the AlmBrand insurance details compared with previous quotes from other companies. He went through the policy bit by bit helping me to compare the two policies on both price and coverage. He was clearly being honest with me and I would happily have opted for AlmBrand under other circumstances. He was patient in his explanations and I did not feel pushed into making any decisions.

Runaway from alm.brand
If u have alm.brand forsikring that is mean your money is going on. As a customer you buy expensive insurance to save your things but with them you loose your money and your things.
Just write on Google alm brand extra bladet and read.

Alm brand called me on the phone one day and offered to get me an evaluation of my stuff+car in order to see if I would like to become their client. I already had Next.dk at that moment and was not really interested, but decided to give it a try. A guy named Villads Ferdinand Møller came for a talk and counted all the insurances and it looked like, it was cheaper for us to change. So we did. I told him I don’t want to change and fill all the papers again, he said he would do everything smoothly and we won’t have to worry. Sure! We signed the contract on the Ipad. First time it didn’t work, so we needed to schedule meeting again. In the meantime we bought a new car, so needed to register it in Alm.brand as well, they created two polices and non of them were working. Then it took a long time for us to understand if we’re driving with insurance or without it. After 2 months of being clients, they still haven’t created a police and now in the next month we will need to pay for 3 months, which personally I find annoying since I like to pay my bills every month. Also now we understood that they didn’t cancel my partners house insurance, although we said we have 2 in Next.dk, but Alm.brand created 1 for 2 people.
They explain very poorly and because of that we need to pay twice. If you don’t want to spend time following every month and every small detail, then I would not choose Alm.brand. Since you will be binding a year, like now we do!

Would recommend to stay away from this insurance company.
Had a sales agent come to my house and make me an offer that turned out to be good and after asking about every aspects of the insurances i could think of, good and bad i accepted. When damage came up turns out i was lied to about their coverage, and answer i got from them it¨s my responsibility to know the law regarding insurances.
