Skade om Sofa
I wrote to alka about my Sofa that it got broke to just recive an email today telling me that they only cover sudden damage.
As i mentioned it was a sudden damage and not over time as they try to tell me! i am very disapointed in the response i recived so far and i hope they will reconsider or i might reconsider moving my insurances! So far very unpleasant service!

My VW car got all scratched up and slightly dented, in several spots, by the full impact of a falling bicycle that fell and slammed against my parked car on one of Christianshavn's streets - and the antenna on my car was also snapped off - on a summer's day in mid-August 2016. A woman had been riding her bike on Prinsessegade, in Christianshavn, with her young daughter aboard the bicycle also, reportedly rode over an unevenness in the road and lost her balance and the whole bicycle fell, with mother and daughter, into the drivers side of my car - and evidently scraped across the whole side - and even dented the hood of the car. This woman was thoughtful enough to leave a note for me, with a contact number. As things would have it, her insurance carrier is ALKA Forskiring. After many months of calling various representatives at ALKA Forsikring and after writing several letters and emails to ALKA Forsikring, I was not able to bring this situation to any resolution. Last week, at the start of January 2017, I told the woman whose bicycle had scraped up the driver's side of my car that, with the cold of winter coming on, I really wanted to have the scratches repaired. This message was evidently enough to stimulate her to get ALKA to write to me, finally ... and the verdict they have handed down now, almost FIVE MONTHS after the damage done to my car, is that the woman (i.e. their insurance client) who was riding the bicycle has done nothing wrong that she can be held responsible for - and that damage done to my car is to be considered "hændelig", and that they are absolutely NOT going to pay any compensation at all to me as the "skadelidte".

THANK YOU, NIKOLAJ .. for your responses - now we've had a round of e-mailing back and forth and I see you've posted your response on TrustPilot.
You write to me: "As I wrote in my previous answer, our client did not do anything in a reckless or negligent manner. The requirement to put the liability into force is that our client does something in a negligent manner, but nothing indicates this."
It looks like you're saying to me that nobody from the claims department is even willing to take a moment to CONSIDER the possibility that your client could have been negligent, when it comes to keeping her eyes on the road, as she - with a young child on board the bicycle - steered her bicycle right over TWO large depressions in the street and subsequently FELL against the driver's side of my parked car ... scratching it and denting it and snapping off the antenna. Isn't is possible that the bicyclist (your client) might have been distracted? - how else could she have driven over two gaping holes on the otherwise clean and well-paved street?
It appears to me that the ALKA people are rigidly "going by the book" and are not ready or willing to deploy any flexibility, energy or care in dealing with this situation. I've been waiting FIVE months for some kind of response and it's only when I asked your client directly about moving things along that any response to this matter
