I purchased a new gate opener and it failed after just three weeks. I have been communicating with them for almost another three weeks and still do have the repair part. Aleko even wants me to be their mechanic and tear my brand new sliding gate opener apart to replace the part which is VERY excessive. I will never buy another gate opener from Aleko again.

This is the worst company I have every ordered from. After screwing me on my product for months and them saying they sent. Has anyone ever talk to a manager??? They are always in meeting or on vacation. I will let MasterCard deal with them at this point as the are misleading me and purposely screwing me at this point. I would say to never order from them.

The item was sold as Free Shipping, however, due to the size of the item, a shipping company was contracted to deliver. The shipping company required 3 people to be at the house to unload from the truck or they would charge us to bring enough people to unload it. Also, they could not specify a 2 hour window (said sometime between 8 and 5) so if we did get the people, everyone would have had to be at the house waiting all day. Then because we could not get someone at the house for a week, they would have charged us a holding fee. I contacted Aleko about the issue and they said WE would need to work it out with the shipping company. To avoid the hassle, my husband ended up taking a trailer to the shipping company and picking up the item by himself. This reflects poorly on Aleko and I would have thought they would have researched who they contract shipping with if they advertise free shipping. We are currently in the process of putting the gazebo together and so far, it seems to be a well made product.

Worst customer service ever. No one answers the phone, no one responds to an email, no one responds to a chat. If you call you are on hold for 5-10 minutes and the line goes dead. Worst company ever. Highly recommend all consumers avoid this company or be prepared for radio silence.

The fence and gates that we purchase look okay but the customer service and the shipping is really bad. We ended with several pieces missing since the each box did not have a contents list. There were no installation instructions. The customer agent did not help and I ended with a fence post too many with no way to return. In summary do not buy from this people

Customer service dept lied to us twice! They do not replace or exchange there products when they say they would. And they told me to measure with a tape measure the dimensions of our existing canopy which is also wrong and you will find out in the box they ship dimensions 10” smaller then you need. Would have been nice to say that first. Also beware of the sales lie “I installed mine in 10 minutes for my gramma’s camper” that’s a lie also!!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Before trying the new Aleko AC1400 sliding gate motor I called their customer support to ensure the contractor had the sliding gate and magnets where in the correct position before supplying power. The first technician told me the gate had to be at the fully closed position but before we could go any further I was hung up on. So, I called back and the second technician told me it didn’t matter...I could have the gate in the fully closed position, I could pull it half open or I could put it in the fully open position. So, I decided to go with the first technicians advice and put the sliding gate in the fully closed position. However, when power was supplied (today16 Sep 19) the motor kicked in but the driveshaft for the chainlink gear drive did not engage. So, I called customer service and after spending 22 minutes on-line with two different technicians, the second technican said he had to get advice from someone else and put me on hold but instead of getting back to me, he hung up. So, I called back and it took 47 minutes (from the time I called until the time I actually got to speak to someone) and, go figure, she couldn’t help and said she would get me to the right department and after that person came on the line he couldn’t help and I’ve been on hold again for an additional 20 minutes and no closer to solving “THEIR” problem. It’s sad that Aleko doesn’t spend any time concerning themselves with their clients, once they have your money. They turn you over to a laughable Customer Support Center with unqualified personnel to be the face of this horrible company.

If i could give this company a zero it would be exactly that! I am a purchaser of their slide gate product which i have to say has been the worst decision i could have made when deciding on a slide gate opener. Was lured in by the “reasonable” price and now know how duped i was buying Into the false positive reviews of this sham company. As soon as the warranty was over the opener had nothing but issues. 24v battery charger burned up, so bought another, magnetic limiter failed, bought another, now i think a circuit board has failed for which they want $125! Tough part is, a special pad was poured for the gate opener and now hope to find a gate opener that will work with the existing pad.....whatever you do...stay away from this sham company. Btw, their customer service is pathetic to say the least....several instances where the wait time before i even spoke to someone was 40 min! The last time i called support i was on the phone for 45 minutes...then the office closed and they just pulled the plug on the phones! What reputable company does that?

We ordered an Aleko barrel sauna roofing kit online. When we received it there weren't any installation instructions or screws to install it. The worst part is we didn't receive enough shingles to complete the job. We watched an Aleko video online on how to install the roof and it showed where to start on the sauna so that's where we started and ran out of shingles. We had to go to our local Lowe's and purchase additional shingles that weren't the same color or pattern. If you purchase the roof kit you will need to start much higher up on the sauna than what the video shows. I emailed Aleko twice asking for installation instructions and recommendations on what type of screws or nails we should use and never received a response. Their customer service needs a lot of work.

I will never buy anything from this company again , this company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They are sure quick to take your money but will overcharge you and not respond to emails or take calls to resolve this issue."Tonya" the head accountant I am told is always in meetings and does not return calls. Aleko are able to provide good prices on their products because they rip off their customers by overcharging their customers credit cards and don't take calls to try to resolve said issue. CROOKS I will not recommend this company to anyone unless you like getting ripped off on your credit card

WOW ,what can I say Aleko seem like it really does not care about the consumer going back and forth with resolution to my issue .
all I want is to have them return because it is damages product that I was sent .
they will try anything but take the damages product back . I do not have to time or energy to do all this extra leg work . Now I see why everyone shops on amazon they stand behind what they sell and if there is an issue they return to fast .

I ordered 4 items and when I received my order this item, the wireless gate opener for gate opener was damaged in my package. Another item I ordered was missing so after the difficult time I had with customer service I decided to just return my entire order for a refund. I had obviously choose the wrong company to order from. I was told I had to pay return shipping even though I was missing one item and another item was damaged. Both of these items were needed to make my gate work. They did not offer to replace these items, they wanted me to ship them back and pay $62.00 and let them know when I shipped them. I can see they received my return on 3/28/19 and it has now been 10 business days and I have still not been issued my refund. I have contacted customer service twice now since they have received my return asking about my refund. I do not recommend dealing with this company

The product quality seems good, but the installation instructions are awful. If you aren't an electrical engineer with twenty years of experience deciphering poorly translated Chinese instructions, you'll be scratching your head and cursing for hours on end.

We had a storm that broke the rollers that held the canopy. The eye holes separated from the rollers. I did a chat and they said to email customer service, because they couldn’t help with ordering replacement parts. I emailed customer service three times with no reply. Tried calling was told to email customer service. I am willing to pay, would just like a response from the company. In a day and age with many options to make purchases and social media to keep companies honorable I fail to understand the disconnect in retaining their customer base with some type of customer service. I just do not understand...

Small local business, honestly all of the outdoor products we purchased from them came out pretty durable and have lasted us since we bought them last spring. Even though it rains like crazy off season they're still standing like new and are easy to clean whenever we're ready to use our patio again in the warmer weather. Nice products for a much lower price than other mainstream stores like home depot, etc. Customer service can be hard to reach at times, but ive found their local office in Kent and got help fairly quickly. Would definitely purchase more of their outdoor stuff in the future .

After four calls and being put on hold for anywhere from 30 - 60 minutes with no follow through, then an E-mail with no response after a month. All I needed was two arm bar links, but I'm now going to resort to manufacturing my own. What amazes me is that a company would abuse their own reputation over something as insignificant as these inexpensive parts.

ordered and received a set of solar power gate openers last year,worked for maybe 4 months.contacted aleko on numerous occassions but to no avail,now they are completely not working.i called them again today as they had sent me a 4th circuit board and have been told again for the 3rd time to video what is happening and send them an email. complete waste of time,effort and money.stay away there customer service stinks.

Awful experience would never buy anything from them again. Awful install instructions. The key pad instructions were missing and not in the box which created multiple days of delay. Called to get key pad instructions and it was as if i were speaking to a 4 year old child. Very noisy background and I am pretty sure I heard a baby crying as well. The agent acted as if i was putting them out by asking for the instructions. It took multiple calls to get a manual that should be online and it doesn't even tell you how to mount it. When i told the customer service agent it wasn't what i needed she was totally disgusted and said i'll pass you to technical support and immediately transferred me without discussion. Still on hold while I write this review so I may never get what I need. This is an onshore US service desk and I've talked to the worst service desks out of India and had better results. What a joke!!!
