Such a fun experience for the entire family! Kids and adults can work together and test their skills! Spooky but not scary and a really fun time all around! We will be back!!

Fun and challenging. Graeme (sorry if I butchered the spelling) was a professional. We had 4 people in our group and we completed the escape with seconds to go! Multiple rooms to progress through, several types of clues and puzzles. Everyone had to participate in order to solve the varied clues. Great time!

We love escape rooms and this is a great one! We brought our 9yo daughter and she loved it, too. Fun to solve puzzles as a family. Highly recommend!

My siblings and I came here and it was absolutely so much fun. It was super hard, but we got lots of help from the sweetest guy who was controlling the room. Can't wait for the new room, definitely coming back.

Went here with a group of 10 people and had a great time! It was was my first escape room, and I believe this place has set the bar pretty high for my future experiences. The staff was very helpful and the rooms and puzzles were just so much fun. I can't wait to check out the new room the are working on which should be ready this summer.

This is so much fun! Graeme and his staff are so nice and made the experience very enjoyable. My daughter celebrated her 13th birthday here and everyone had a great time. The VR experience is a great compliment to the escape room. They had a party room and supplied the pizza and drinks, we just showed up with a cake. Highly recommend for anyone, even if your not sure what an escape room is, as they will help you if you get stuck on a puzzle.

What a great experience! Graeme is really friendly, helpful and makes you feel truly welcome. The escape room was a blast. It was suspenseful, creative, and challenging. It is a great venue for a party, team building, or fun with friends and family. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the experience.

I was visiting from Seattle and was hoping to find an activity fit for my parents and I. I've been to 10+ escape rooms and this one was by far one of the most fun and creative. The staff was extremely generous and friendly. They even showed us their new virtual reality suite and let us try a few demos. We loved it so much that we booked a session for the same weekend. During the virtual reality session you can have as many as 5 people per VR setup. Each setup is 60$ for 1 hour. We opted to rent out both of the spaces for the 4 of us to give each of us ample game time. During the session we were able to pick and choose our games. Some of them were multiplayer so we were able to interact with each other in the game. It was a great experience and we ended up buying gift certificates as Christmas presents. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Went tonight with our group of 10 so had it to ourselves. I've been to rooms in the past but never here. What a great time.
There is only 1 theme right now so once you go you probably aren't going to go again so that's a bummer. But they're adding a room this summer.
There are puzzles in 3 rooms to solve. There's only a 30% success rate but WE DID IT with only 2 minutes to spare.
Definitely worth going if you get a chance.

Excellent escape room- Raven's Eye
We made Raven's Eye our 263rd escape rooms - we have played rooms in many other cities in the USA and throughout the world. The designer of the room has done an excellent job in creating a fun escape room experience. It is a big environment with lots to explore. Our Game Master Morgan told us that a new room is in development - we will certainly check it out if we are ever in Anchorage again.
Very conveniently located downtown!
No spoilers in this review. The game starts with a set-up video - a lot of attention went into the video but we all thought it went on way too long and we started to los focus. My biggest issue is that I wish this "pre-game+ tape was more tightly edited. But the video fit into the story line and they incorporated a very good use of this video though out the room as an immersive (I.e. non-puzzle) element...and we always appreciate the extra touches to make the experience more immersive. The room had a slightly higher number of puzzle groups than the average 60-minute room. All but one of the puzzles had a clear and single answer - no guess work was necessary. There was one early puzzle (we talked to Morgan about this) that had 2 viable solutions...when the first one did not work we tried the second one and moved on.
In general we do not like rooms that rely heavily on scavenging items in difficult-to-find places throughout the room; this room was low on the scavenger requirements - meaning it is more focused on the puzzles. The lighting in the room was functional and did not present challenges. There are also non-linear elements allowing multiple puzzle solves to happen simultaneously at some points in the progression.
The room is moderately challenging - our experienced group of three escaped with 14 minutes left...but we believe that this is a good room for all levels. There was even one puzzle construction which we had not seen before - which after working over 2,500 puzzles is unusual and was fun!
Overall we recommend the room for its fun factor, lack of needless busy work, low scavenging and clear puzzles.

This experience was absolutely amazing!! The design of the room was fantastic. You weren't just stuck in one room the entire time and and really made you work to get from one hint to the next. I'm excited for future rooms with this amazing staff. Speaking of staff the employees are fantastic, helpful and they have great personalities. I'm looking forward to going back with more friends. I highly recommend this for families or friends just trying to get out and do something.

The best one hour you could spend while visiting Anchorage.
This was our first escape room experience. And now we are gonna explore the other escape rooms out there. We were a group of 4 and all 4 of us enjoyed this thoroughly. It was a well thought-out puzzle. This would require different types of thinking and approaches and thereby, having a number of people helps. And yeah we made it through!! (with few extra minutes though)

We ran late and they allowed us to go with the next group. Just FYI, they offer military discount! We had a group of 11 people and we made it out with 4 minutes to spare. It was pretty challenging but it was fun. The puzzles and clues all flowed very well.

We had the place to ourselves on a Monday night. Morgan was sitting at the front desk and provided a thorough and animated explanation of the room set up. The room was actually a series of rooms with two story lines that kept all 4 of us constantly moving. Morgan encouraged us to use the three clues allotted and was so excited for us when we escaped with 2 minutes to spare! highly recommend. great experience and very affordable!

I was visiting Anchorage and had some extra time, so my friend and I decided to try an escape room. It was both our first time ever doing any sort of escape room. Graham was very informative and helpful in explaining what to expect. He made our experience there wonderful. We did the "Ravens Eye". It was challenging but fun at the same time. Highly recommend you visit here!

Such a fun thing to do while visiting Anchorage! We had been wanting to try this at home in Los Angeles but hadn't made the time. This was the perfect place to pop in for a fast flying hour of fun with the added benefit of getting warm and inside from the rain for a bit!
The puzzles are fun and challenging. We were paired with another family of five so together we had a lot of diverse thinkers! I would highly recommend Alaska Escape Rooms, the brothers who run it were really nice and their team obviously puts their thought provoking heads together to make each experience a great one! Thank you guys for a great time!

SUPER TIME!!! We had an absolute blast, and enjoyed not only the team building and working together, but the laughs. The staff is fantastic and we can't wait until the rooms reset so we can come back. Plus--we are in the 30% club!!! *drops mic*

Very friendly and Enthusiastic staff. My 1st time participating in an escape room. I was able to catch on quick and the rooms provided a difficult but fair and fun challenge. Unfortunately we busted on our hour to escape but we're allowed to get an extra few minutes to finish the game. The staff also helped when we were stuck but stuck to their role and tried to just give slight hints without giving away the whole answer. Would recommend again! Fun with a group of about 6-8 people. Can't wait to see the new room the create in the near future

Well thought out escape room with only one "Are you kidding me?" moment that required a hint. The puzzles were not super-hard but were fun due to the multiple modalities used. All of the puzzles were of the "find the combination to this lock" type (or find a key to a lock) but the methods of getting the right combinations were interesting.
Only complaint: the official address of this place may be on 5th Ave but the entrance is not! It is a tiny door on the West side of G St. North of 5th Ave. We wasted 10 minutes looking for the door to this place. Wouldn't hurt to put the access information on the web site!

We visited this escape room as a family (our kids are 10, 9 & 8). Graeme and Ron met us and walked us through the puzzle and were so good to set the plot at a level appropriate for our kids.
Our family had a great time working together and at the end Graeme and Rob took the time to talk with us and were super personable.
We have done quite a few escape rooms and this was by far one of our favorites!
We will be back to try another we visit Alaska again.
I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you have done escape rooms before or have a large or small group!

I consider us avid escape room doers. I have done multiple in multiple states including the other 2 in Anchorage. If you like combination locks then you would love this one. There is probably 11 that we counted. We had 4 people in our group and it would have been very crowded with more. There are 4 rooms you have to work through and rooms 1, 2 & 4 are very tiny (smaller than my bathroom). In room 3 you can work on different parts at the same time but in all the other rooms the puzzles have to go in order. If you have more people then you will probably have a lot of people standing around. There are a few cool gadgets/mechanics but otherwise it is just locks locks locks. It's very hot in the rooms so dress lightly (there are a couple of fans in subsequent rooms but I was still hot). I loved spending time with my family so that was was a success.

Wow what a set of well thought out puzzles! This room, Raven's Eye, is a challenging and fun experience. We are from Southern California and we have done over 25 rooms now and I have to say Alaska Escape Rooms stepped up their game and totally thought outside the box for this room. The in room mechanics are well done but not too intimidating and the puzzles are not 100% linear so there is something to do for everyone in the group. I am jealous of native Alaskans because I won't be here to see what else these guys will have up their sleeves. Thank you to one of the owners, Graham, for a good time and being so friendly (a theme in Alaska as far as I can tell).
