Signed contract of Purchase June 28th 2019 Now 17/01/2019 and this review is the first and only contact since June28th. Not even a call to see if all was OK.
Received no response to the question ie." What is the registration number of the vehicle being purchased ?" until after the third attempt to make over a 3 day period. The registration number was required for Insurance purposes.
Car good Once sale completed that was it.

I found the service was easy to arrange and the centre was happy to make changes and still fulfill my need for a specific completion time.
The service manager was knowledgeable and keen to assist. Everything went off without a hitch.

I felt the staff were trying to manipulate me into taking the financing package they were offering. The business manager was particularly difficult and constantly ignored my requests and tried to push the same inferior deal ion me despite me making it clear I wasn’t interested.

The brand-new Sportage had not been checked before delivery - tinted windows had bubbles and there was a defect in the exterior paintwork.
"We'll fix it on the first service" is not the comment I wanted to hear. Salespeople blamed "the boys out the back". It takes a number of years to save the money to buy a new car - probably the only new car I will buy in a lifetime. A new car should be in perfect condition when delivered. Not a great experience when it should have been exciting for me.

Great buying experience, and delivered as expected. I bought a Kia Sportage and I love it. Izzy is an asset to the Kia organisation. The only 2 gripes I have is that I had to ask several times for a copy of the Sales Invoice (after the sale had gone through and the Finance Person was unavailable at the time to issue a receipt), and maybe the after sales service team could have made a call to see how I was going with the car? All in all a good experience though.

Alan Mance Kia (Footscray) is my new benchmark for service, knowledge, interaction, responsiveness and quality. I've had five Toyota vehicles in the last ten years (and been very happy with them) but this time decided to look around rather than just "replace with upgrade". I'm so glad I did. I bought a Cerato S Sports and couldn't be happier. The tech included (love Android Auto and auto-lane correction) and the build quality of the vehicle is superb to say nothing of the 7 year warranty!!!. Izzy is a professional; courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and responsive and the deal (albeit organised through a tender process via my employer's novated leasing company) was very competitive. The upshot? As the title suggests, Alan Mance Kia is my new benchmark for what a car dealer experience should be. Cheers, Mick
