Booking on the internet went smooth, but handling the real world was more troublesome. Our booking was based on a transport with SAS with a good timetable, but a few month before it was changed to BRA with a less attractive flightschedule, but we decided to keep the booking. The first negative thing was that AirTours didn't change the the bookingnumber, so our advantages with the parking in Landvetter was lost.
Next negative thing was the plane. Avro RJ85 is made for regional intercity transport, not for trips like this. Our extra payment for better space was wasted, as there were no extra space. This old plane is not build for modern times cabin luggage og the plane seem tired and wornout. Only advantage of this slow, old plane was visibility, as it don't flying so high as a contemporary plane. The trip was delayed half an hour both ways.
AirTours on the destination was invisible. The were no messages on the hotels infoboard, we recieved an sms a few days before we should leave, who confirmed a failed contact, but we met her at the airport on departure. We don't need the personal contact, but a confirmation at the time of departure, the day before the departure, on SMS or info board, would be reassuring.
All in all, our experience of AirTours did not measure up to the price and will hardly be repeated.
