I have been trying to contact the support team for several weeks at first they engaged, but have suddenly gone silent and unresponsive. Surely if you offer a 2 year guarantee then there has to be some liability for not honoring it by refusing to deal with consumers who have a fault. I intend to go after the director by issuing proceedings directly against him for a full refund.

We have had nothing but problems with airrunner lack of customer services being the main one!! Our sons airrunner developed a fault and in fairness airrunner fixed and returned the product which lasted a week before breaking again!!!! And now no one will respond to emails or calls !!!

Emails bounce back. No phone number. Facebook page is down.
My sons air runner broke at Xmas and I have been trying to organise a repair under warranty since then!
Considering a report to trading standards now. Any idea how you go about a refund when you can't get hold of the company?!

I have just opened and played with the airrunner balance board. I have got to say it is worth every penny!! I knew they were good but I didn't realise how fun they really are. My son is going to love it at xmas!
I paid a deposit when preordering and then paid the remainder in full when we received the call that they balance boards were in stock. The service was excellent. Very pleased with the whole experience.
Delivery was arranged swiftly although I wasn't at home for the available slot so I requested to pick up from a local store. I thought it would still be delivered the same day but for some reason the courier took it back to the depot and delivered 2 days later. Weird. But nonetheless when I contacted airrunner they were very helpful and quick to reply.
My husband also rang to speak with someone about the media reports of balance boards causing house fires etc and was reassured by the team that the product is PAT tested and uk compliant. Again a very good service.
Whilst the product is high end and very well made (from initial impressions) I feel the packaging is slightly poor. The graphics, printing and the lack of proper handle on the box etc made it look a bit cheap. The manual is the same. Poor graphics and printing. -some of the text was slightly faded in spots etc.
I have still given this product 5* as it's brilliant and the service was great. However, I think improvements to the overall first impression and packaging would make it even better.
That's my honest opinion.

The scooter vibrates so bad and flips about when trying to get on . I have one very upset daughter all her friends are playing out in theirs but my daughters vibrates so violently . I thought there would have been some support from air runner over the Xmas period considering that most of the people who bought them were for Christmas presents. Tried ringing not answer not even a answerphone to leave message and also emailed. This has spoilt our Christmas and my daughters as we had high hopes for this product being a UK company .

Due to the recent bad press regarding balance boards I was very unsure about purchasing from a newcomer to the market. I decided to order from air runner due to the two year warranty that was supplied with the product. Nice and easy transaction with updates about the product availability. Dispatched with tracking number and delivered on time. The board looks great and once charged I tried it out to ensure it worked as it is a Christmas gift for my son. I did notice a small rattle inside the board which I spoke to Rory about during my conversation with him and he reassured me about the possible cause.
To summarise it is a great looking board exactly as the website describes and as long as the two year warranty is hounerd then it is a fantastic buy.

We now have an extremely happy 12 year old boy!! Unfortunately we were unlucky and had a scooter with a fault. Once we got through (very busy after the Christmas bresk) customer service has been great. Better than we would have ever had if we had bought from a large chain or generic high street store. The best thing was knowing we were dealing with the same person throughout the process. Beverley was great. Would recommend.

Air runner is the worst company I have ever dealt with !!!!!
I feel like I have been ripped off for £300 , I am blatantly getting ignored by email and phone , the product broke on the 2nd day of use (27 December) and still waiting for it to be returned to us on 2nd February!!!!!! Impossible to get hold of anyone there to find out what is going on ,
I would strongly advise people to use another company because these idiots are not worth dealing with

Do not use this company unless you enjoy wasting money. Been chasing them since Christmas as my £300 air runner developed a fault. They never reply to emails and when they do they are full of promises they do not deliver and so you end up chasing again. Cannot expect much from Rory Greaves (MD) as he is not interested either, but then he has his fingers in lots of pies according to Company House! I see other comments from people about this happening to them. Please be warned! Do not use them!

Did everything to help me get the air runner early despite high demand for this product and Christmas approaching they got this to me early as was for a birthday present. Rory was really helpful and pleasant to deal with and I would definitely not hesitate to recommend to anyone who wants one of these products

Tried to charge me for returning faulty goods, impersonal and really quite cheeky tone in emails from "air-runner support". Wouldn't trust these people, just out to make a quick buck. Eventually got refund but wasn't as straightforward as it should have been.

Ordered a balance board for my son for Christmas, not arrived yet, but I knew they were not available until after 27 /11/15 when I made the order. I telephoned for advice with a question I had, the lady who answered the telephone was very polite and helpful & sent me a link via email which I had requested. So far a faultless experience with air runner. Thank you.

Great communication and no stress this time of year with delivery. Pre ordered for my son for Christmas. Communication by email was fantastic I knew when and how final payment would be made , email then sent to confirm final payment. There were plenty of alternative delivery options available, I collected mine from the local carrier depot, so easy with texts and emails to let me know it had arrived. Professional service all round

I was kept updated with emails & text messages informing me of when my order was ready & being shipped out to me even down to the last hour of delivery! Great customer service from pre order to delivery. Any concerns had following the negative reviews on this product were answered and confirmation received that product has been safety checked. On opening Christmas Day, it was well received by my 10 year old. Easy to use and after about 10 minutes all controls figured out, this is going to give hours of fun!!! Generally a good, trusted company. Only deducted one star as I did not receive some communication in the time specified due to some admin changes in the company. This meant I had to call them a few times.
However everything was fine with my order and once fully processed I received very good communication regarding delivery.
I'm sure my son will be delighted with his air runner at Xmas.

Faulty product opened Chrtistmas day. Apparently according to airrunner if you are an Irish customer you have to return to skatehut. Jan 27th still waiting on the product to be fixed and had no phone call whatsoever.

My son absolutely loves the Air Runner. It's full size and very solid - not at all flimsy. Rory and the team at the company were great - the phone is always answered by staff who are keen to assist with queries. When we made a special delivery request, they went out of their way to assist. We've had the Air Runner a few days and have been checking the electrics after the recent news reports about faulty/cheap devices. There is a light that is red when it's charging and goes green when fully charged. It doesn't appear to over heat when charging. When I queried Air Runner about the news reports, they confirmed they have all of the relevant British electrical standard checks. We are however, taking precaution and not charging over night or when we're not at home. So far, the Air Runner has been brilliant. My son is on it all of the time and, because it's remarkably quiet, he's not driving us mad! Would recommend, a great piece of kit.

I purchased this for my son as a Christmas present as it was what he wanted, as many have said the packaging leaves a lot to be desired and is quite big so hiding it was a challenge
On Christmas morning my son was over the moon and couldn't wait to get out with his friends, well that never happened either the charger is faulty or the board is. I changed the fuse as recommended to a 3Amp but the unit will not charge the light on the charger remains green and if you slightly move the jack it crackles as though it is about to short.
I have emailed airrunner.co.uk as there is no answer on the phone and am unsure when they are to reopen as even skatehut did not know. Lack of customer support and information this time of year is not what I expected and having looked on the website they are stating there may be none in stock.
Not very happy and an even unhappier son.
