I had pleasant journey from Paris to Abidjan. I wish all members staff of the plane should be like her.

My plane was delayed by about 30 minutes, but this wasn't such a big deal. The worst part was that my luggage was delayed and didn't get on my plane despite a 3 hours stopover in Paris. I understand this happens of course, and I wasn't upset about it. However, I was told I would get my delayed baggage delivered to me the next day. I tracked it online and the luggage was delivered to my home airport, but then I got no new information. The day after it was supposed to arrive I called Air France's lost/delayed baggage phone number, and was told that they can't tell me anything or help me. I called once again later in the day to ask if they could possibly call the baggage delivery people for an estimated time (I was having to stay home for work to wait for luggage they kept saying would arrive...), and the agent talking to me raised her voice as if speaking to a child and said, "You called earlier and were told your luggage is on a delivery truck, so don't call again." I wasn't told that, but also this was a really rude response to a calm and polite question. It was also evidently a lie because I'm currently still waiting for my luggage to arrive 4 days later and have no information or help on how long this will take or if I will get to see my bag again. This is the worst customer service I've ever had from an airline, and I've lost luggage before which was swiftly and professionally returned. Really, really disappointed and can't recommend Air France to anyone unfortunately.

I took the flight from IAH to CDG and then to Prague. Unfortunately, I found that my luggage was still in CDG when I arrive in prague. the luggage office said they will send back to me the next morning since it was still in CDG. However, i gave them a call at 10pm again asking about is my luggage arrived but they said it is still in IAH n it will arrive on Monday “after morning”. I am very disappointed with ur airline n service. Different stuff gave me different information. It totally ruins my vacations. I have no personal belongings at all. It’s only saturday and I have to wait until Monday? And what can I do now? I have flown with many airlines but it never happened before. It’s really upset me and very disappointed. This is the very first time for me to have this experience.

I have never written a negative review in my life, but the consistent, extremely bad service of this airline really needs to be known.
I live between Prague (CZ, Europe) and Santiago de Chile and so I fly long distance quite regularly. I had 6 flights with AirFrance in the past year, and 3 (!) of those had some serious issue:
First, some items got stolen from my checked luggage. It was a serious hassle to get the refund, and the whole process took over 6 months.
Second, my fight got cancelled a day before departure, and they were unable to tell me when a replacement flight would be scheduled. This was particularly unpleasant because I had a wedding to attend to, so delay on the departure kinda defeats the point of the entire flight.
Third, my checked luggage get left in Paris (my transfer destination). They gave me an allowance of 200 EUR to purchase replacement items as I wait for the luggage (it's not amazing to arrive during the winter without all your warm clothes...), but again, the whole process of getting the money back from them now is taking over 2 months, and the reason why they can't do it is because their system "lost" my attachments with proofs of purchase.
So, I strongly advise you to NOT use this airline. Their inflight service is about average, but as soon as anything goes wrong, things become a nightmare: the customer support is unhelpful and EXTREMELY slow, their online infrastructure is unreliable, the whole company seems a complete mess just barely holding it together. Do yourself a favour and choose someone else.

We were booked ex Australia to travel from Toulouse to Nice and needed to get checked in pick seats etc. Went to the local Air France office in Toulouse and Kevin was most helpful and did the lot for us and printed the boarding passes while we were there. A most helpful and professional person , thanks Kevin.

Airfrance is a truly terrible company. Their outsourced Indian support is claiming I never paid for tickets. Yet they charged me for tickets and never provided them. Terrible broken booking system Only option is to chargeback.
Stay clear of this airline company.

Air France lost 3 suitcases on our business class flight to New York, but wouldn't reply to our repeated complaints or let alone reimburse us for our additional expenses! Very poor communication!

Horrible experience on a long 12 hours flight. Seat was so cramped that I could barely move and kept hitting my legs on the hard metal bars from the seat in front of me. To top it off, they had a metal bar between my 2 feet and legs. The arm rests and seat were also a cold hard metal. It is a disgusting way to exploit traveller by squeezing as many people as is possible in minuscule spaces. I will never fly AF again.

Air France have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have submitted a claim for a delayed flight/ missed connection/ lost bag. I was essentially delayed by 15+ hours, had to wait 2 hours in a queue at Charles de Gaulle because they were so understaffed. Then my bag wasn't transferred to my new flight. In the end, I didn't get the back bag until I had already returned to France. I submitted a claim form as per the advice from the ground staff... three weeks and STILL no response.

Bought an open ticket. Cancelled my ticket several days before take off. This is 4 months later and several mails and phone calls later and stil haven't gotten refunded. TERRIBLE. Don't bother wasting your time and money with this airline!

Dear Sirs and Madams
Unfortunately I have to add myself to the chorus of people treated vabky from this company. On both my flights they refused to board my hand luggage into the cabin. Needless to say my hand luggage was fully compliant. The passenger next to me on both flights was allowed to bring his hand luggage on the plane. I wrote a formal complain to the company and the answer sounds like this:
Dear Sir in order not to exceed the overall weight on the plane on behalf of the captain some luggage will be chosen randomly and put into the hold. Randomly???? In 2019 they are unable how much luggage will be on that particular flight. I will continue my fight against the company reporting what happened to the aviation authority in my country.

We(family of 4) had booked flights from NYC to India, which was a split dated journey.
NYC to London on 4th-Aug and then France to Bengaluru on 16th-Aug.
NYC to London was operated by Virgin Atlantic and the seats provided to us were right next to the toilet door.
All through the 7 hours of the journey, the toilet door sound and light made us loose rest/sleep which in turn spoiled an entire day after landing at London.
On the way back, I traveled Bengaluru to NYC on 25th-Aug.
Flight start at Bengaluru was delayed for 3.5 hours and the same delay added to the Paris-NYC flight.
After landing at NYC, again a delay of an hour (waiting on the runway). This added to the luggage collection mess also.
An entire afternoon was wasted due to this.
I am sure to choose a different next time.

The love strikes! had several issues with them, lost bags, flights delayed forever, rude crew, pilot strikes! this airline is a mess! they left me stranded in the Caribbean for 4 days due to strike, I had to sue them back in Brazil in order to get refund of my unplanned expenses! They must miss their golden old days! I DO NOT recommend Air France, even if the tickets were being sold at 1 euro...

Air France changed our tickets which we bought in September 2018 for travel in April 2019 three times. Their constant changes and updates was quite stressful as we were travelling with a friend who has Parkinson’s.
On arrival at CDG there was no wheelchair assistance which had been pre booked. We were basically told to get off the plane. My friend managed to walk up to the seats by the gate. Assistance came but the lady was not allowed to take us from where we landed to a different part of the terminal. So stranded again. Whilst we were waiting I heard a lady shouting for help. She had been left at a different gate and was waiting for assistance but none had come. She could barely walk and stressed about missing her flight. The Air France staff wouldn’t help her so I asked if I could. So my friend and I helped her through the terminal and went as far as we could up to security and handed her to airport staff. We then couldn’t get back to our friends as the doors are only one way. As an airport there should be CCTV everywhere and the lady should have been spotted sitting alone by and empty gate.
We were told we should have booked assistance which we had as they had the booking on their computers. The staff quickly realised that I can understand French. It is ridiculous that assistance staff can’t travel inter terminal.
The boarding system for the plane was an absolute joke. Instead of calling for rows it was a free for all. People at the front messing about stowing luggage. Fill up from the back of plane. Then more arguments about hand baggage. The person shouldn’t have been allowed to board the plane at the ticket desk with 2 suitcases. We were 40 minutes late. We were lucky as we got a drink but then the seat belt lights came on and turbulence announced. Nothing happened. Not even a shake. So cabin crew sat for duration.
We have booked assistance for CDG for return journey and will stay seated on the plane as I’m sure the pilot can get the wheelchair there quicker.

Poor service, difficult website. I was charged extra for transporting my bike even though it was within the weight range. I have never had to pay extra for a bike on any airline before. Then I had to drag the box across the terminal while the not helpful Air France people watched. Air Le Crap

I flew business class on Air France airline few weeks ago. I expected it be better but it is very bad. The food was horrible, they served rotten food like compote and cold one sliced of Iberico ham and very hard. I asked for a baileys drink and the steward said "no" we do not have it. This is the first airline I have encountered that do not have drinks available. After the food was served, my throat was very dry because it was hot and there was no air conditioning available while everyone of us were sleeping. I have to ask for an ice cream, thank goodness they have it available.
I will never fly again with this Air France airlines. Also, they almost lost one of our luggage because the crew took a lot of luggage out from the conveyor because he said it was full. Then again people were waiting that it will roll on the conveyor, there was no notice that they pulled the bags out of it. Everyone was mad because of what happened.
It was not worthy flying business class on this Air France at all.

I try to avoid this airline whenever possible but sometimes you have no choice when you fly to Basel! Maybe it is bad luck but the 4 times I was flying with them I experienced 2 cancellations one delay to the next day because of a broken equipment and one flight with only 30min delay!

I spend a lot of time in the air and air france have slowly become one of the easiest airlines to work with.
Not really because they are the best. Clearly the reviews speak volumes, but having flown with most other airlines, Air France has been consistent throughout offering the service they offer.
BA, etc have been dropping standards for years and praying on loyalty points to keep there customers.
Me, I'm slowly swapping loyalty to Air France, they may not be the best, but you know exactly what you will get every time.

1 star is even too much.
This is the worst ive tried with an airline company.
Ive flew to copenhagen over a month ago with airfrance.
First the plane got delayed about 2 hours, Then arrived in compenhagen my lugage was lost or actualy my lugage was left behind in Parisw.
Due to the delay and the process of filling up the missing lugage (Because i wasnt the only one who had their lugage forgotten in Paris).
The last train from the airport was already gone.
The next day still no lugage.I had to buy clothes, underwear, toiletteries, and gifts because i was in Copenhagen to see my son and his family.
then the day before i had to fly back to France Paris ive received a called in the afternoon(5PM) telling me that they will deliver the lugage today. GREAT...
Ive filled a complain right after i arrived in Paris and its now been a month.
Ive called them and waited 20 min before anyone could take the phone and after explaining the person the situation, HE HANGED UP ON ME! Because he didnt know what to do.
Never Expected anything like that from a company like Airfrance.
Im still waiting for some info about the complain that has been placed about a month ago.
