just as I clicked the button to book the hotel, I noticed the date was off by 1 day. No modification or cancelation policy. $350 room booked for a night that I won't be in town. Not cool at all.

Booked a property in Nottingham upon arrival I was told it was student hall of residence and that I needed student ID. At no point in the web listing or the confirmation emails was this stated. Was then subjected to a humiliating hour where I was badgered to register for a course to be able and was then shown a room that looked like it was falling apart, all I can say is I'm glad I'm not a student now. Tried to call Agoda but my booking reference wouldn't register on the phone and you can't get through to them any other way by phone so I sent an email asking them to contact me urgently. Finally got through to someone at 12am where i was told I would have to find my own accommodation that night. I then complained and demanded a refund I'm still waiting 3 weeks later. What galls me the most is that the web listing now clearly states student I'd required so they know they are in the wrong yet brazenly ignore the fact that they missold the property

I booked a room through AGODA was quoted 310.00USD for a 2 night stay. I started to recieve emails from them saying I needed to sign an agreement as I looked they tried to charge my credit card 842.86 which they arent suppose to do had a 250.00 added charge for cleaning...this company is a rip off..i cxld my reservation through Vtrip whose company AGODA booked it through and they said they never heard of AGODA before . I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and to the FBI fraud line and the company is based out of Singapore...

Made a mistake on our booking and we lost our booking dates an amount of the money paid.
The hotel did confirm to Agoda and myself that Agoda made a number of mistakes. However Agoda avoided any responsibility.
Based in Hong Kong and will take up to one hour each phone call to NOT get an issue resolved.
If you use Agoda, you risk loosing money. Go direct to the hotel.

Booked a hotel thu agoda.com after reading reviews and services offered by the hotel paid via credit card got there 2am to be told my booking was canceled took 2 hours. To sort out then things just got bad to worse hotel was no where near what was advertised carpets filthy shower doors broken no hot water and at times no water coming from shower so couldn't shower also advertised daily room cleaning we stayed 7 nights room got cleaned ONCE! breakfast was horrible no cereal no milk no bread! No transfers even thu it was advertised as having this service no iron for 4 days advertised as having iron in every room 1 iron in whole hotel! Library? Lol 1 shelf with few books! No lugauge service we had to drag our suit cases up 4 flights of stairs again advertised as part of the service! Hot tube in hotel? Nope not even that. Complained to agoda whilst I was there 2nd day thru their website and got no reply come back to uk and rang to complain and emailed all evidence and was told sorry we can't offer you anything nothing can be done! What bull$#*!! Oh I forgot to say sockets not screwed to walls and fire alarm hanging of ceiling! But agoda couldn't give a $#*! they got their commision so nothing else matters. Do not use agoda just look at other reviews terrible company surprised they still running!

It is INDEED A SCAM COMPANY.
They duplicated my 2 bookings into 4 bookings, deducted money twice and are now not even accepting the responsibility of it.
They are putting the onus of cancellation on hotel which is not fair.
If hotels refuse to cancel, they will simply STEAL my money.

I booked a single room with shower and large bed in Quentin Golden Bear hotel in Amsterdam via Agoda for three nights (price: 370 euro). The room that was given to me by hotel (Room 11) was not the one I paid. It was a terrible narrow room with share facilities (common shower), like a prison cell. Hotel said to me that Agoda sold to me a room that was not available. The room that I stayed was cheaper than the one I paid (296 euro). Agoda doesn't send me the difference (74 euro). Instead it suggested a compensation of 36 euro for my next booking at Agoda !!!! After this experience I wonder why they think that I will use Agoda again in my next trip.

I tried to book a room through agoda for a hotel in Amsterdam. When going through to complete the payment i then was alerted that the room was no longer available and couldn't complete the booking. I went back and booked another room. I then woke up this morning to, two booking confirmations. I rang agoda to explain that there was a glitch on the site and i could have the room as i was alerted it was no longer available. They spoke to the hotel who said i am not having my money back as it was a non-refundable room. Ive disputed this with Agoda and they are adamant i am not having my money back and they have now cancelled the room. I now have one room for the price of two. Very disappointed. I have now had to take out a dispute through my bank which can take two weeks to resolve. I have just tried logging into my Agoda account and suprise suprise there is a technical error.

Big scam!!! It said free cancellation and pay at hotel. Right above where it asks for credit card details it had said your account will not be deducted at this time in green letters. I thought they would deduct money once I got to the hotel, but nope after a few seconds it had been deducted from my account. When I called them they said I should have read the conditions, I told them I had and this is what it had said they told me I should have taken a screenshot before making the payment.
Usually on Agoda, if you go to a hotel you would still be able to view the rooms and deals that was offered before and see what conditions they had it for, but when I went back to look at it, they had dissabled this function for this hotel.
They did agree to make the cancellation, but made it sound like they moved a mountain. Now I have to wait upto 30 days to get my holiday money refunded back to me.
Didn't receive any apologies was just basically told I'm lying and I should have taken a screenshot. I pointed out they hadn't even apologized she said sorry you feel inconvenienced but it's not our problem.

I searched fior a room for tomorrow night at a specific hotel for 2 adults I found the type of room I wanted the discounted price was 84 dollars so I booked it which is non-refundable. When I saw my confirmation I was upset because it said 3 adults and the price of room was 93 dollars so I called their customer service. The guy said he could see I did my search for 2 people and it didn't matter cause they don't charge per person and about the price he said he typed in my search and the room was 103 after hanging up I went back on their website and typed in the same info and once again the room I wanted was listed at 84 dollars and it appeared to me they did charge more for more people. They are liars and I will never use their site again I am venting my anger and my opinion is set so I don't care if anyone try to dispute my experience or imply that I somehow made an error therefore causing my own problems everything happened the way I wrote it and I stand by my statement their liars

Did a booking with Agoda for two nights at Malacca - The Shore Hotel & Residences. It stated clearly in my booking wifi provided for three rooms apartment.
During check in, we asked for wifi password, recept told us apartment has no wifi. We leave it as it is and stayed on...after a day, I decided to check on my booking with Agoda. It clearly stated wifi provided. We went back to checked with reception, why wifi not provided for apartment? Their answer to us - we informed Agoda many times to edit their website...
Well, this is very obvious, someone is not doing a good job. They just don't bother the inconveniences it caused to the travellers.
Very disappointed with the hotel check-in experienced. We were assigned a room n given 2 card keys, but the lift was unable to operate to the floor we needed to go. They got two of their security officers, 2 managers and a lift technician to check but no help at all. We waited for 45 minutes at the lift lobby, nothing happened while we are stuck with our luggages. My husband decided to get the recept to switch us to different room/block.
By the way there's a nice TV in the hall of the apartment but there isn't any channels to watch any shows. Found out the antenna is a problem.
Though quite a bit of hiccup but we enjoy our two days stay with good company.

No reservation booked then got a totally different room ( way less $$) called to let them know I was checking out early said they couldn't contact hotel 3× then I get a customer service rep who is yelling at me. WOW
