Had some issues with getting my trip rescheduled after a family emergency . Ayana & Jared were most helpful in getting it resolved and helping straighten out the confusion. I look forward to my new travel plan with the company.

Impossible to get in touch with anyone there by phone without a minimum 30 minute hold! Amazing no one ever figured out how to have the caller leave a call back number to be reached in turn when staff is available. Ridiculous way to operate "customer service."

My wife and I just returned from a 10 day Ireland Castle tour and were disappointed in two of the castles, Bunratty and Dunboyne. They are hotels only and not the original castle as indicated on the ad. They don't fully explain the rental car insurance which we ended up paying $700 dollars additional for although the Enterprise staff were great to deal with. All the hotels were pleasant and we had no issues with the staff only the AerLingus misrepresentation of the castle trip. Also, don't bother calling the 800 number unless you have time to sit on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Pay, coworkers, management, archaic systems, benefits, unresponsive 'HR Team' AND travel deals - This company is a joke. They laid off me and about 15 others out of nowhere and made us sign a 'release of liability' before they'd give us our whole weeks worth of severance, just to put up help wanted ads TWO MONTHS LATER...
The whole reason they weren't 'meeting their 2018 numbers' (The excuse for the lay offs) was because they replaced their systems during high season with a system that doesn't work!!! Read the reviews for Great Value Vacations - Same company, you'll see how many people were told 'our systems are down we cant help you book anything' for MONTHS.. we lost hundreds and hundreds of customers and they decided laying off 10-15 people was the answer... leaving is all in the dark to fend for our families out of the blue.
Myself and many others that were let go know the truth, they wanted to clean house and get new blood in there so fed us all excuses, gave us the least they could to get rid of us and boom... done.
Had numerous occasions where I couldn't get any response from 'HR'. Their HR department is ONE PERSON who has an accounting degree... he's a 26yr old cocky brat that they threw into the position to handle 'HR Matters' because they had noone else. You can almost guarantee you'll either wait weeks for a response or if you do get a response, he'll have an attitude and what you need will be done incorrectly! And the 'commission'? They only give it to you if they feel like it that month!
So, basically we weren't the cool crew so they let us go, took a couple of months and now they are 'rehiring'. They are a joke.
As far as a travel company, they have no idea what they are doing. Their other brand 'Perfect Escapes' went out of business and we were instructed to 'not mention this to customers that have already booked under that brand'... noone in the company has experience working as either a wholesale travel company or a travel agent yet when someone who knows what they are doing comes in, they promote the 20 year olds that talk to customers on the phone like they are their 'homies' - 'Oh yea, bro, I vape, what piece do you use?' And cursing 'sh** and a** like its funny to speak like that in a professional setting. Need help? Theres a 50/50 chance you’ll wait on hold for 45 minutes just for their crappy workers to hang up the call because they don’t want to be bothered. I can’t even tell you how many times I’d get a call from an angry customer saying they had been dosconnected MULTIPLE times and now I get the angry person and have to deal with that.

This company offers cheap travel and thats what you get. The lowest end of the lowest, the cheapest plane tickets that dont include bags or seats, hotels out of the way and dirty and half of the time the trip isnt even available for the price advertised. And even if it is, you more than likely have to add additional services to complete the trip which ends up costing more than if you had done it yourself. I have been in the travel industry for over 15 years, THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT EMPLOYEES OR TRAVELERS!!! All they care about is money!

The staff were very helpful; we had some problems, but were resolved.
The package we purchased was excellent in value and a good trip for both of us.
I will use the AerLingusVacationStore again.

The second hotel was terrible. It was in the middle of nowhere, room was very uncomfortable. The hotel had no atmosphere the other 2 hotels were nice but you definitely had to have a car.

We loved our trip to Ireland. Aer Lingus did a great job of lining up places to stay and see. And having a car included gave us the flexibility to explore on our own along the way and for a price way below other 'tours'. Just the way we like to travel!

Trying to be fair - too much driving. Lodging adequate to nice but not elegant. Would much have preferred to stay in one spot several days to see more of what was to offer in those areas where we KNEW there were things to see. Last 2 night stay there wasn't even wifi that worked consistently so I could not connect with family. Even Edinburgh would have been fun 2 nights but the tour was sold as Highlands so I get it. Some places had little to nothing to do and we went out of season because we hate crowds so in my opinion places were understaffed and they even made mention of that fact. Waiters serving as porters and welcome people. I don't mind quiet and being on my own, in fact we love it hence going out of season but the Scots gave whole new meaning to frugal. We got scammed in Edinburgh by cabbies overcharging but some were lovely. Apparently different costs depending on which cabbie you get. Edinburgh parking impossible and construction abounds. Had to find car park because hotel had no parking and no one at hotel even mentioned we would get the horrific ticket we got first night in for parking across the street and we spoke with a policeman who was looking at our car. He never said a word. Signs 10 feet over our heads and we should have known better because we travel Europe but ticket dispenser was around the corner and not visible. I also think I got double charged for Hertz insurance because I felt sure I paid with vacation package (an extra $250+) but they said no, we needed more. "included" car ended costing additional over $500. $250 when package purchased an another $250 at desk in check in. Stirling castle and William Wallace monument worth the ride and cost. "Heritage Pass" which was "included" was only for summer and had expired despite our booking for winter months but the people at first stop remedied it and Rabbies tours were very accommodating in doing so. However if person at event on list had not pursued and contacted them directly we would have been left in the lurch.having to pay more. We knew Scotland was costly but I have buyers remorse. Hubby very much enjoyed distilleries and I did learn things so maybe it was a wash. If you don't fish/golf/drink scotch beware. Sight seeing would get an A however. As for the people, in all honesty I felt like many tolerated us. Most were accommodating with a smile but not really friendly or fun if that makes sense. All in all for the cost I would not do again. Scotland that is.

Had a great time on the trip to Dublin, Castlebar, Limerick and Drogheda. The cities seemed random as they are not the typical spots to visit but they all had their own charm and brought us all over the country and close to many sites. Booking online was easy - able to add insurance and automatic car without issue.

The accommodations were wonderful. The trip was spectacular. My only gripe would be the option for VIP insurance for the car. I had pre-paid for it, but when I got to the Dooley desk they asked for a paper copy of the receipt/voucher which I had not received. It arrived in my email later that day, 9 days after I had paid for it. In order to be issued the car, Dooley had to charge me 500.00 for their VIP option, which they reimbursed me once I returned the car, (funds available in my bank account 1 day after that). It would benefit others in the future if you explained the VIP option and made it more accessible to obtain, as in an online option. Also a prompt email receipt/voucher once the product is purchased.

For a flight that is so long nd is still costly there were 3 from my family that flew. The seats were horrible first time ever. I am flying with Aer Lingus since I am a little girl. We were in row 10 ABC whatever it goes from there I was at the window my husband Than my son. We sat down it was awful the seat it went back nd it didn’t fit properly on the seat. Just awful I have 2 disease with my muscles nd joints I was crippled by the time I arrived in Shannon nd was getting into the wheel chair. You should invest a bit into those cushions they are just awful.

In September I booked an 8 day tour of Ireland through the Aer Lingus Vacation Store. The total price included round trip airfare, 5 hotels, and a rental car for the duration of the trip. I always am nervous booking trips like this where so much depends on everything going smoothly. This trip exceeded my expectations in every way. Checking in was easy in the airport, rental car agency and each hotel. I always live in fear of booking something like this and then arriving and having no record of my booking. There were absolutely no hiccups. The Aer Lingus Vacation package was the easiest way I could imagine touring Ireland.

Did not want to leave!
We booked a 10 day drive yourself Ireland castle vacation through Aer Lingus. The whole vacation was just fantastic. Booking the package through Aer Lingus made everything super easy. Customer service was a great help before we left, answering all of our questions. The car rental at Dan Dooley Car was quick and easy. As well, we had no complications at any of our check-ins. It really left us just to sit back, relax, and enjoy our vacation. We plan on returning to Ireland and will be using Aer Lingus again.

This was the best vacation we've ever taken and everything was set up so beautifully. We loved all the accommodations, and traveled with our 6 year old son, and did the rental car and drove to each destination. We HIGHLY recommend this company to all our friends and family!

Our trip was amazing for an initial visit to Ireland. Flights were on time and all rail transportation between cities was included. Only one hotel was subpar and that was in Galway. The hotels in Belfast, Dublin and Limerick were wonderful and met our expectations. Time to find a better accommodation choice in Galway.

We booked a vacation package for Ireland and every element of the trip itself -- from airfare to car rental to hotels -- were above expectation. We had a great trip.
Our only frustrations were dealing with the Vacation Store website, which is separate from the Aer Lingus website. When it came time to check in for our flights on Aer Lingus, the tripcodes provided by the Vacation Store booking did not relate to anything registered on the Aer Lingus website, and there was no one at Aer Lingus who could (or wanted to) help. Integrating these two functions should be a priority for Aer Lingus so that other travelers don't have to deal with this. Kudos to the Vacation Store staff who spent a lot of time on the phone with us to try to resolve the problem. Once we checked in, the trip went smoothly.

Nearly everything was seamless- From flights to booking our own B&Bs to staying in a castle! Aer Lingus really went above and beyond to make us happy. My only complaint would be that we drove around Dublin for an extra hour trying to find a place to park our car near the hotel- finally we found out we were suppose to park in a unidentified lot that belonged to the hotel next door. We were upset that this was not in the instructions given to us- while a lot of other instructions were given. It was our first time in Dublin and this left us with a bad first experience. Overall, we loved using Aer Lingus and will definitely be booking with this website again.

Second time I've taken this trip to Ireland and everything was seamless. No problems anywhere along the line, from flight to rental car to accommodations. I recommend them to family and friends all the time.
