The customer service is unable to handle situations that fall beyond their protocol. I'm unable to access my registered phone in order to login to my property, and they simply say, you need to receive a call on that number.
There was no escalation, and when I asked for the manager, the person became rude and shortly hung up on me.
I've called 4-5 times and unable to resolve this issue, across different geographies, etc.

I cancelled a hotel which the site indicated that it was free to cancel. I got charged £150 anyway. Booking.com not interested in refunding my money.
I will never use them again.

WORST SERVICE FOR HOSTS
If you are a host, be prepared for guest canceling all the time. The most guests will not even show up without letting you know. Booking.com asked ever for fees when a guest did not show up and it was marked by the host as a no-show, falsely stating that the guest did the check-in.
BOOKING.COME DOES NOT PAY !
Booking.com was supposed to pay me more than 300 euros for a reservation of few months ago.
They have never paid me with the reasoning that ¨I have to go trough quality check¨, which is ridiculous, cause I don´t even have the listing anymore now.
I am spending my days calling the call center and sending emails, they just refuse to pay.
Next step is to bring them to court.
