Change for change sake. Dreadful result. Users are now suffering from an illogical format, slowed speed, and inability to find the most basic weather details. What on earth motivated this change? The previous format was streamlined and user-friendly. This is not. Plus all of the ads simply gum up the works and make this a ridiculous app to use. Absolutely ridiculous.

Accueather was always my favorite weather site. A few weeks ago (Sept. 2019) they changed their site, forcing viewers to find hidden information by clicking down arrows for each hour of the day. It is a huge chore to find what you want to know. I recommend using Weather.com which lays everything out in front of you - no clicking.
Accuweather has also put up a nag telling you to shut off your ad blocker. I used the ad blocker to block the nag. Then they put up a small nag which will only block on each single page. It is not that big a deal. If you want, you can just push the browser down until the nag is hidden.
I cannot imagine what was in their minds to force people to do all that clicking unless they actually think people will look at ads on the page while they are forced to click arrows. I wouldn't buy anything from an ad on their page now that they made it a lot less useable.
I highly recommend abandoning Accuweather for Weather.com, Wunderground, or any other weather site. They give me no reason to even want to use their site.

Since I started using accuweather, it has shown unreliable information.
People are looking for weather FORECAST , not weather studies or statistics or observations. Which indicates to be able to accurately as close as possible provide a timely prediction based on whatever technology or software being used, of the weather pattern expected at least in the next 24 hours.
What I have experienced many, many , many times is in the morning of the day, it shows 'hourly' forecast and it is hot, sunny . Then when I leave the house 4 hours later, I see a cloud aggregation in the actual sky, then I look at the web site accuweather , surprisingly it has changed into shower and wind! This is not forecast , this is describing what they see.
The software is terrible in timely forecast and in forecast as a whole.
This affects the value of the website which is , not sure how rated the most accurate??
The difficulty in prediction of weather needs improvement of the software of both the accuweather website and the website that nominates it to be the most accurate weather website.
If there is zero star rating, I would give it half a star based on more than 5 years terrible experience

Over the past two months accuweather has become completely useless. Totally wrong about current and past conditions, never mind forecasts. Worse, the two different views for rain conditions often disagree. Even worse, it will say it’s raining but we’ve just driven from one side of the suburb to the other and there’s not a cloud in sight.
Long story short: it’s turned to complete crap across dozens of cities we visit.

Its been raining all day in Dublin, Accuweather has only predicted minimal amounts and even now as it continues to rain it is showing no precipitation predicted for the next two hours!

This site is no longer usable in my opinion.

Accuweather is one of those great American scams! They use lots (if not all) data generated by NOAA a governmental institution that created and deployed many weather and meteorological tools. We, the American people paid to build NOAA and the National Weather Service and Accuweather uses their data and tools to “create” their content. Without the National Weather Service and NOAA Accuweather would have never existed. Read “The Fifth Risk” by Michael Lewis to understand how bad is it.

Terrible at forecasting the weather. I'm done with it! We cannot plan anything with this inaccurate app. I can't believe anyone still uses it.

The new update is awful. Why...when I go into the app..does it automatically show me the next day's weather? The website is disorganized. Why can't I find the extended forecast anymore? The radar cannot possibly be right. Half the time it's raining here but the radar shows all clear. Or my weather will show partly sunny but it's pouring rain. I wish I could figure out how to have different weather app on my phone!

Someone in the AccuWeather office sticks their hand out the window to see if it's raining and then immediately changes the forecast to suit. This morning we've gone from last night's prediction of a rainy morning, to waking up to a changed prediction of sunny but partly cloudy. Well there you go, it's raining with deep grey clouds. AccuWeather should have stuck to last night's guess.... :-( a piece of blotting paper on the garden table would have been more accurate.. useless app and web weather service.

The weather maps are terrible.
First of all you have to look at the whole county then zoom in.
Secondly the visible satellite is a total waste. The clouds are barely visible so you can't tell if its cloudy or not.
As others have said they used to be good now they SUCK!
90% of the reviews give them a 1 star only because you can't give them a -10! Change things back!!

Awful. Really slow and keeps repeatedly asking you to accept cookies when you already have, or asking you to subscribe- ie pay. Why should anyone have to PAY to read a weather forecast ??? It's ridiculous- pure greed. The Weather Network is so much better.

If I wanted to browse through tons of advertisements, I'd just save my junk mail and read it or spend a 'lovely' afternoon reading my spam email. I wouldn't do it by going to accuweather. I feel like I'm being attacked with ads. They're all over the page. I believe they're trying to coerce people into either leaving their website or joining their ad-free paid version of AccuWeather. Pigs will fly before I'd ever sign up.

I live in the saint louis area and have determined accuweather to be inaccurate 80% of the time. They post thunderstorms ALL day but we wind up with cloudy, small rain shower and sunshine late afternoon. Not even close.

Awful. It might predict rain for 1 hour in a full 24 hour period and the app says rain all day. Misleading garbage

These guys are so consistently wrong that it's amazing they are still around. The best thing you could do I guess is look at their forecast and expect the total opposite. If they are forecasting a beautiful sunny day you better take an unbrella.
