On March 22, 2019 I saw an ad on groupon for a moving company. I was moving in 2 weeks. I called the company directly to see what their rates were for moving a 1-bedroom apartment to another 1-bedroom apartment. The guy quoted me the groupon rate along with other hidden fees. I ended up paying for 2 movers for 3 hours. April 6, 2019 was my moving day. I received a call from Lewis at 8:39AM stating that the drivers were on their way but the radiator in the truck burst, therefore, having them to go back to get another truck. An hour passed still no movers. I called Lewis back and told him the movers had not shown up or contacted me. He stated that they should've been there by now and that he would call them. Another hour passed, still no movers. I called Lewis back, he then stated that the movers said they were stuck in traffic because of an accident. Another hour passed and I was fed up because my sister-in-law had come over to help me with my move as well. She traveled the interstate where they "said" an accident had occurred. There was not an accident on that interstate. After 12 noon, Lewis stopped accepting my calls and I haven't heard anything else from the company or movers since. I was scammed, I paid them $266.76 up front to move me and they never showed up.
