I purchased items online totalling £102 but never received delivery information so had to email them for updates.
Now the annoying part is having noticed the sizing was wrong they insist on returns going to Holland and not a UK address.
For this return you will get £9 deducted from your refund.
What a rip off this is absolutely no customer service just greed.
No problem as they have just lost a long term customer and three other members of my family.
Shame on you A&F

Received a shirt that had a horrible smell of c**p. Don't know where it had been! I sent them an email and was only told to return it. Then they charged me £9 to send it back!

Disgusting customer service!!!! I placed my first online order and sure as hell the last one with this company. Their courier company (Landmark) SUCKSSS! They didn't show up to my door to deliver the package, nor even made an attempt to deliver and left no notes to pick up from their location. I called company four times within a week of interval to follow up on my refund which they never did. Their customer service representatives were going in circle every time i call. and i have to end my call with their words that "madame you will be receiving refund within three business days" Which is totally BS! This people neither deliver any of my package nor refund my money back even after placing an order of more than a month now. I am still chasing them for my own freaking money. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS PEOPLE. They are fraud and charge your credit cards and deliver nothing to you.

I too was fooled by this outrageous £9 fee for returns. Given that so many websites offer this free now it was my own fault for not checking the returns policy first however i was lucky enough to return the item to the store which got my refund back. I was also abit dissapointed with the £5 delivery charge which wasnt even that quick and noticed on the website they have a 'right to cancel process' so i filled this out as long as its within 14 days they refund you your delivery charge. So luckily enough i was able to get all of my money back. Its such a shame as my items were only cheap and i did want to exchange the sizes but due to the ridiculous delivery and return charges i couldnt and now i would say avoid this website unless you live by a store and can get free delivery and free returns there otherwise you wil pay around £15 an order extra. Which is a shame as the clothes are lovely.

My daughter received an egift card purchased online in the USA and is unable to place an order as we have an Irish IP address. It was a substantial amount on the gift card and they will not honour it. I got absolutely nowhere with Customer Service or their online chat. It is a pity because fairly embarassing in this day in age that egift cards are not for use internationally but I won't allow them to just keep the money.

SAME AS OTHER REVIEWS! SNEAKY RIP OFF MERCHANTS. I SENT GOODS BACK AS THEY ARRIVED TOO LATE AND THEY HAVE DEDUCTED £9 FROM MY RETURN. IT WASN'T MADE CLEAR ANYWHERE ON THEIR RETURNS INFO I HAVE ONLY FOUND THIS INFO OUT BY READING THEIR T&C'S. I THOUGHT IN THE UK MERCHANTS WERE SUPPOSED TO MAKE CLEAR ANY RETURNS CHARGES AND I DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE MEANT TO CHARGE IF THE REASON FOR RETURN WAS DUE TO THEIR ERROR I.E. NOT DELIVERING ON TIME. CANT BE BOTHERED TO CONTACT THEM OVER £9 BUT THEY HAVE LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER AND I'LL BE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE ELSE ABOUT THIS SO THAT THEY LOSE FUTURE ORDERS FROM SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWERS AND FRIENDS. I USED TO SPEND THOUSANDS ON MY KIDS FROM A&F BUT STOPPED DUE TO POOR QUALITY AND SERVICE. THIS IS FIRST TIME IN A WHILE I HAVE TRIED THEM AGAIN AND THEY'RE STILL AS SH!T AS THEY WERE BEFORE SO THATS US FINISHED. I WONDER IF THATS WHY THEIR SHARE PRICE HAS FALLEN SO BADLY BECAUSE OF THEIR DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I had £9 deducted from my return which is extortionate! Judging by the volume of customers also caught out by this rip off returns charge, but receiving no help from A&F I wont bother contacting their customer services. Wont purchase from this company again.

Disgusting customer service!!!! I placed my first online order and sure as hell the last one with this company. They SUCKSSS! T
they cancelled my order and lied about it. claiming there was a problem with the delivery fee. whereas the truth is they didn't have all the items in stock. furthermore they had taken my monies and made no mention on returning the monies nor delivering my items. i had to call them on 5 separate occasions to get to the bottom of it .

A&F Saville Row.
Friendly Staff. Nice ‘old school club’ style dark interior. If you become a ‘member’ (Give your email & a password’ you get £10 off your next purchase (unfortunately the girl who signed me up failed to mention you have to spend over £50.00, it’s also limited (a month).
Still if you like standard well made clothing (as far as menswear) which has a ‘label’ you can’t really go wrong here, it’s like an upmarket GAP or any of the numerous ‘American’ fashion retailers... there’s nothing offensive but style wise it’s all rather boring and samey.
Average price for Jeans/Chinos(!) £69
Average price for T-Shirt £25
Average price for a Polo Shirt(!) £50
Average price for a jacket £120
Average price for underpants £20
Zara, TopShop, Reserved, even Primark have more interesting ‘gear’ than here, this is all about the ‘label’... and the rarified atmosphere, and flogging the EDT 😜

Recently purchased a bottle of Fierce Men Cologne from their Central London Store. I have used this product well over 10 years purchased from the US and UAE. The product doesn't last 15 mins and doesn't smell the same either.

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered with them. I assumed as they were a well known current brand that they would function like others such as Asos or Next but how wrong I was! I don't mind paying the £5 shipping as I bought sale items and had the £10 off your first order, but you don't actually get a deal because if you need to send something back they will take £9 off you! For what? Paying the £5 wasn't enough? I've never experienced this before, what brand charges you to send your item back? I got the parcel valued at the post office for £3.45 for the UK address, but if you want to send it back with your own label they make you send it to the Netherlands, which costs £10! So you lose £14 no matter what. Baring in mind one of the items I purchased was £13.99! I'm going to keep my items and give them to a friend.
Which brings me to my second point- the sizing is well off! I'm a UK size 14-16 and I ordered an XL and they are so small it is ridiculous! According to their size guide their XL would actually fit a UK size 18 in normal stores. I like my clothes oversized so I was shocked when I tried them on and it was a little disheartening. I would rather give these clothing items away to a friend or family member than give A&F more of my money! I have truly been conned. And reading the other reviews, we have all been in this situation!

Great quality super cute clothing I was bummed when my local Abercrombie went out of business last year but shopping online with them has been a pleasure they have really fast shipping and offer free shipping and other deals to their members without forcing you to spend a certain amount or open a credit card thanks

I have bought an expensive coat which is machine washable, one I washed and dried the coat, it smells really badly, this coat was brand new. I have sent an email to them and they responded that I should try dry cleaners, no apology, really poor customer service and I am obviously taking it further. This is unacceptable.

I'm surprised by the poor reviews. Abercrombie is what it is, it isn't some high-end brand. It's everyday wear and for the affordable price point, I have found the quality great and all of my purchases from A&F have ended up lasting past expectation.
I typically order online but sometimes pop in-store. I prefer shopping online with Abercrombie as they often have Online Exclusive pieces that aren't in the stores and you also get to avoid the horrible cologne which can be detected half way across the mall, hoards of teenage girls giggling about and pompous sales associates.
I am probably older then their target market but I still like Abercrombie for their basics - their basic t-shirts (no logo) and sometimes they have cute sundresses and skirts. I find their denim to fit quite nicely too, unlike, Levi for example, which I have never understood the hype behind (their jeans are STIFF). Anyway, back to Abercrombie.
My online experience has always been great. I have had to return once or twice and the return process went smooth (I'm located in Canada). They have never mixed up my order/given wrong sizes or items or anything like that and I often place larger orders when I do order. I placed an order on Black Friday and received my package December 10th so it took just over 2 weeks to arrive. Not too bad, though a bit past the estimated date of arrival. I understand this is a busy time of year though!
Loving everything I bought. Their t-shirts are so soft.

They charged me £9 to return an item via Royal Mail!!!! To a UK address. Absolutely shocking. The coat I'd ordered was an overpriced piece of trash in the first place. I've never ordered from them before this and I will never spend a penny with them ever again!

Never purchased from their web site before and unfortunately this purchase did not run smoothly. I ordered well in advance for Xmas and was surprised that they use snail mail for deliveries and quote 3-7 days for delivery. I was well in advance so it wasn't really an issue. The problem was that they delivered completely the wrong goods. Calling customer services did not fill me with confidence as the operator really could not be bothered and said they would send another but could not say when it would arrive! They did send a replacement but using the same slow service and could not provide tracking info. As this was an Xmas gift for my son it looks like he might not have it now until after Xmas.
I think I will stick with Amazon in the future

I fell in love with Abercrombie’s Skinny Fit Jeans. I bought 6 pairs of pants(worth 250$ total), and within 4 months, their waist and hip expanded to an extent where it is now unwearable. This happened with none of my other pants. On contacting customer service, they said they did not see them problem, even after I provided pictures. It is surprising how they could find out there’s no problem without physically inspecting them. I would recommend to stay away from this company and their pathetic customer service.

I ordered two dresses separately, decided to return them both. I had never ordered from them before so I got caught out on their returns policy. Paid £5 delivery fee x2, £9 returns fee x2. I'm now £28 out of pocket and have nothing to show for it. I will never order from them again.
