We could not be happier with Aarya Travel. My family (my husband, 18 year-old daughter, 15 year-old son, and I) were in Nepal in late July and early August for 14 days, and it was simply the best trip we've ever taken. Bijay met us at the airport with marigold garlands, took us to a hotel we loved, and ended up being the world's most amazing trekking guide. He was a guide in every sense of the word, helping us figure out how to avoid the worst monsoon rain, find the best routes, and stay in the tea houses with the nicest proprietors and best food. Throughout, he was cheerful and helpful. Seriously, Bijay is the absolute BEST. Krija is also phenomenal, accommodating last-minute changes to our schedule with cheerful efficiency. The hotels she arranged for us were excellent, the cars were good quality, and everything happened exactly on time. By the time we left, I felt that Bijay and Krija were good friends. I would recommend Aarya to anyone.

Recently we traveled to Kathmandu and we really had an amazing trip. We did not book programs in advance so we picked up the offer of Aaryatrave on site. They had plenty of different program options so we had a chance to choose our area of interest. we were more interested in historical heritage sites and the traditional culture. We had an excellent personal tour guide, called Mark, with perfect English and wide knowledge about our field of interest. He was also reliable and accurate, never needed to wait for him. I can reccomend him personally to anyone who wants to be guided in Kathmandu and surrounding area.

Organization of our sophisticated tour though Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan was just excellent. Every little fact was managed by Aarya team with super high responsibility. We met about 15 teammates of the agency, some working as guides, drivers and other supporters. All of them were superbly skilled, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs and interests. Organization on level of Swiss watches. Thank you!!

Aaryatravel has organised our holiday in the North of India en Nepal. They are both reliable and flexible. One of the benefits is that they use local drivers and guides to bring you from one place to another. Thanks to their experience we have seen most of the highlights of both regions. We were with a group of seven people from The Netherlands. One small piece of advice to Aaryatravel is to offer people just a bit more time to explore the beautiful places they visit. We have seen so much but sometimes it's just nice to take it slow. In general it has been an absolute pleasure to travel with you.

Wonderful trip to Nepal and Bhutan with all the arrangements made by Krija at Aaryatravel. Visited five different areas of Nepal as well as Bhutan with excellent local guides and one driver for all of Nepal and another driver for Bhutan. The guides and drivers were truly professional and knowledgeable. I cannot emphasize enough what a great trip this was and how helpful and friendly the travel agency personnel were.

I was from 21th december till 21th january in Nepal. I booked by Aaryatravel through a dutch travelagrncy. They make a personal travelling advice for me. It was very confinient journey. I love Nepal now because of them. I make lots of friends. I was also travelling to a Homestay in Panautti by a very nice family they accept me as a family of them. So its was a journey of my life. I love this country. Its my second home country.

I travelled alone to Nepal in April 2019. Thanks to the very good organisation of the travel agency, I never felt insecure or alone. The travel agency Aria Village was very competent and all hotels were clean and the food was wonderful.
I was able to talk to the travel agency staff about WhatsApp at any time and was therefore always able to find my way around very safely.

Aarya changed our lives. My brother and I were planning this trip for over a year, one month in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. Thanks to Aarya it became reality. We didn’t know exactly what to expect, when we were leaving our homes, but our expectations were greatly exceeded. The Aarya team always made sure we were taken care of. We always knew when/what/how and always had helping hand. Even though one month is a really long time, everything always was on plan. All our guides (and we’ve met almost the complete Aarya team I believe :) were ready to answer all of our questions. About history, culture, habits. Their services are greatly recommended, as you will be in hands of true professionals. Thank you, Aarya!

Wonderful trekking tour
We had a wonderful experience booking our trekking tour with Aarya Village Travel: they really took care of everything and provided full assistance since our first contacts to book our tour in the Everest region.
Sudip has been an excellent guide during our tour! We have particularly appreciated his ability to adjust the trekking tour to a lower altitude after I got sick and could not reach our planned destination. Instead of just turning back and go back to Lukla, he proposed us some alternative routes at a lower altitude which made us enjoy the tour really much and discover wonderful (and unplanned!) sites.
We appreciated a lot Sudip and the agency availability and constant effort to facilitate our trip as much as possible and let us enjoy it while they took care of everything (accomodation, transports, unavoidable delays and uncertainties for flights to and from Lukla, etc).
We will definetely book with Aarya our next trip to Nepal (hopefully soon!)
Organised, trustworthy, friendly, great guide (Sahadev) and generally a fantastic company to travel with through Nepal. Really enjoyed my time with them. I even got invited to play football with the staff which was a great bonus!

Had a wonderful time in Nepal with my family. Our trip was a 6 days trip with exploration of Kathmandu & Pokhara. Aarya Village Travel was very accommodative to change our itinerary as per our requirement. Very responsive prior to and after booking. Both tour guides, Mr Sudarshan & Mr Krishna were very informative and knowledgeable of the places we visited and provided us a wonderful exhilarating trip. Book Aarya Village Travel for a wonderful time at Nepal !

We’re on day 2 of our trip and we have realised that we have wasted our money. 4 of us have travelled over from Europe. Aayra failed to pick up 3 out of 4 of us at the airport as promised.
We had a scheduled boat tour and the boat company tried to charge us even though the price was supposed to be included in our package. Luckily we had a copy of our itinerary with us and fought until they let us take our boat ride for free. Our hotel on the first night also asked us for payment which we had to dispute. Be careful - this company has tried to double charge us on multiple costs that were pre-paid according to our itinerary.
Between the 4 of us, we are paying £300 a day. Tonight, we are staying in a hotel that costs 500 rupees if sharing (so we have 2 rooms) and we have to share a bathroom with maybe 40 students. Our room has 2 windows with no glass, no heating, and only 1 blanket even though it’s currently 7 degrees. This is not what we expect for £300 a day.
We have texted the company and had our guide phoned the Aarya and they are completely unresponsive. Do not book with them. I will post more reviews as our trip goes on. If they finally respond to us and the rest of the trip significantly improves, I will be more than happy to provide a revised review of our experience.
I would like to say that our tour guide has been very kind.
Edit: After only 3 hours of sleep due to the cold and excessive noise from the other guests, this morning we found out that there are rooms with private baths and hot showers for around 1000 rupees a night. This is a dishonest travel company. Not to mention that we’ve had wait in a queue to use the toilet for 20 minutes because there is only 2 toilets and 1 hot shower for around 40 guests.
Edit after our trip:
I promised to revise my review at the end of our tour and after e heard back from the tour company.
The tour company has replied to my review with lies (Trust Pilot, I am more than happy to show emails and the WhatsApp chats that prove that they lied in their review).
After my complaint online, Binod phoned and was extremely rude to me. He called me a liar and tried to blame some mistakes on a fellow traveller (a friend who booked seperately, for a longer trip). His attitude was completely unacceptable. Any business that calls its customers liars will not succeed. He also shouted at our tour guide as a response to our complaint, which is A) unprofessional and B) whom as far as we know was very helpful and a good tour guide and this response was completely unnecessary.
The day after my call with Binod, Mr Sudharsan came to pick us up and escort us to our new hotel and took the time to speak with us. He was far nicer than Binod and eventually after a lengthy discussion, admitted the company’s mistakes. We appreciated the effort put in to have a face-to-face discussion, however, nothing happened after this discussion. Actions are required so this was a big disappointment for us.
A couple days later we went to Chitwan. Our itinerary upon arrival at Chitwan differed from our agreed itinerary over email and the itinerary Mr. Sudharsan gave us. Again, we complained and after this complaint, one of the missed items was added in last minute (we were very keen to see the baby elephants), but we didn’t get to ride in a tuk-tuk as mentioned in our meeting which was a further disappointment.
To the travel company’s credit, they did offer us a free cultural meal on our last day as an apology. This was very nice of them.
However, despite this very small token, I can not recommend this company. If you have travelled before and are comfortable with a bit of negotiation, I would suggestion organising your own trip. You will save a significant amount of money and there will be less stress.
We have spent the last 3 days organising our own travel, including hiking, city discovery and hotels and are having a better experience, with less stress and at a fraction of the cost. Nepal is a fascinating country and well worth exploring!
Edit 22 Nov - I have not lied. The tour guide told us that we spoke to Binod. If it wasn’t Binod, I apologise for using his name. However, the person we did speak to was disrespectful and rude. He should be fired for speaking to a customer so rudely. I have no revisions to make as the above are the true and accurate experiences of our trip. I don’t see how I can send photographic evidence to TrustPilot, but they have my email address from my account and I am still more than happy to send on screen shots of the WhatsApp chat where no one responds to my questions, of our pre-agreed itinerary via email and the chats where we complained that our actual trip didn’t match our pre-agreed itinerary, and also the email confirming that we would land at 9:20 when we were no picked up for 30 minutes (after we called to complain). Stop lying. There is proof that you have done wrong. If you had admitted your mistakes at the start, our holiday would have been more enjoyable. Instead we are being forced to constantly defend ourselves and have been called names and been disrespected.
