Avoid this company and Norman Bishop Jr at all costs. He is a con artist and theif!! He'll take your money and won't complete and work. As soon as you leave he rolls out and is never to be heard from again and on the odd chance you do get ahold of him it's every excuse in the book. Wish they're would have been more reviews about this man and his "company(s)" before I hired him. Be prepared for a court hearing that he won't show up to if you decide to do any business with this company! See his reviews on yelp where someone posted his many court hearings for failure to pay and failure to perform work. Wish it was there before I hired him!

Very, very unprofessional. I asked for a estimate. I was very specific with the owner asking he not show up when I was not home to give me an estimate as I had some very specific things I wanted different quotes on and I did not want to go back and forth over the phone trying to get the additional estimates because he would not have all the measurements he need to accurately quote them. He agreed he would call if he was going to be in my area and set up a time to come out when I was available. Guess what, he showed up early one morning and quoted me on just one of the projects I wanted quoted. I was also here and he never rang the door bell. I found the estimate stuffed in my mail box later that morning. Hummmm...seems like I was pretty clear, not sure what he had difficulty understanding. So I called him and we went back and forth etc. I asked him to come back out when I was available but he never did. So I got the other quotes from contractors that could show up when I was available. I then called him back, because I stated I would let him know either way, stating that if he would honor the quotes he gave me (even the ones that he did not have all the info) that I would go with him. He stated it had been a few weeks since he was out to quote me and I took too long to get back with him so he had enough jobs for the season. Business 101, you don't ever blame the customer for taking too long especially since he couldn't follow simple instructions of making sure I was available for him to provide an accurate quote. Even though I was not impressed but because he was the best price and had good reviews, I decided I would see if he could possibly do it the next year at which point he hung up on me mid sentence. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called back. It rang and rang then finally went to VM. I left a message asking if we got disconnected to please call me back to discuss alternatives. He never called me back which tells me my instinct was right that he purposely hung up on me. Who does that. Seriously, what type of business owner does that. He is unprofessional, can't follow simple instructions, has terrible communication skills, and terrible customer service skills. If he can't follow simple instructions or act professionally I don't know how anyone could trust him to put in a driveway. Even if he offered it at half price, I would not use his company. Save yourself the headache and go with a professional company because this guy is anything but professional.
