Fast and comprehensive testing. Customer Service is second to none. Highly recommend!

I wish York test would test for inflammation against sugar, it's the whole reason I bought the test. I also wish they gave more than 2 finger gougers, I wasn't able to give two full samples of blood to test because of it, and now I fear I'm missing information because there wasn't enough to go on.

for the price I was expecting more detailed results.. maybe include the missing things in my diet..
I did another test which was more than half the price cheaper and had more stuff in it including gut bacteria.. and what I should add to my diet

Love the York test! It was a life saver when figuring out what was upsetting my toddlers bowels everyday. One quick test and we got the answers we needed. He is now a thriving 6 year old who knows his dietary limits.

Good service

I took the Food&Drink Scan Premium Test a few months ago and after learning what foods and drinks to avoid, I have been feeling so much better. I always thought that I was making a healthy choice by choosing wheat bread over white, only to find out that I need to avoid wheat! I have noticed a big difference in my health by eliminating specific foods from my diet and YorkTest made it easier! The nutritional therapist helped by answering questions and providing other healthy food options in place of those foods in which I am sensitive. Thank you, YorkTest!

No beer for 12 weeks but it is going to be worthwhile

I took this test as part of my fitness overhaul and it was great to see scientifically what I had long suspected to be some triggers affecting my health. The people at York Test were very helpful and incredibly efficient.

The actual testing was easy (although I couldn't take my own blood It'd be better to have a friend around to help - just in case) and the response was wonderfully quick and comprehensive. I was shocked to find out about my two main trigger foods (milk and yeast) and for me eliminating them has been very difficult (bread and butter were some of my favourite and most eaten foods!) I also eat out a lot and that has been miserable - even though many restaurants do now offer many more choices for those people with allergens or intolerances it still limits your meals and takes the joy out of eating out. Your helpline staff have been very sympathetic but I haven't noticed much improvement in my symptoms so overall I am very disappointed. The first consultation did help to identify alternative foods which I should try but I have found eliminating yeast very tricky. I am yet to have my second telephone consultation and maybe there will be some more help forthcoming or some pointers as to where I go from here. In spite of my rather dismal analysis I would recommend anyone to take the test as I'm sure that in most cases it would help enormously - I feel that I have been unlucky or perhaps I haven't been as rigorous as I should have been. Doing without a number of foods for 12 weeks has been purgatory but I would have been happier if that had proved successful in improving my gut - I have felt less bloated but I have put on weight (a number of alternatives are high in calories from the sugar or coconut extracts) and I still suffer from an excess of gas which is my main problem - So as this elimination diet does not appear to have helped this problem I feel rather let down. Sorry.

I like York test. Unlike many I had some understanding before I did it and had already made changes. What I need them to do is more extensive testing as it is a lot of money to spend.
I also think you should get more contact, maybe once a month or more from them.

I found the consultation very useful and informative. The intolerances that I have omitted from my diet have made a significant change to the symptoms I had for the better. Very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
