Have been a contented Worldpay Zinc customer for several years. I only take CNP (card holder not present) payments and the old portal was perfect for my small business. Upon being notified of the closing of the old portal I received emails offering a card reader. I was told that I could also take CNP payments. No mention of a new portal (charges of £9.95 and minimum commission fees). I received the card reader and, guess what? No CNP function. Customer Services informed me that this will be available in a few months!! Card Reader cancelled (still waiting for returning post). Complaint took over two weeks - complaint not upheld. Not a WorldPay customer anymore and have got a similar portal for CNP with another company with no monthly charge or minimum commission fee. Just like the old WorldPay portal!!!

Shortly after writing of my experiences with the Worldpay service a replacement card payment reader arrived in the post followed by an email informing me that the Worldpay Zinc service is being replaced.
The new service is named Worldpay POS and the change was made so that merchants can take contactless payments. Unfortunately this is of no use to me as none of my payments are less than £30.
Having been informed that the Worldpay POS service will still provide the same features as the superseded Worldpay Zinc service I was disappointed to find that one of the main features I used 'Email payments' is no longer included.
I contacted Worldpay customer services by telephone to discuss this and 10 minutes into the conversation the call failed. As the representative had all my information on screen I expected him to return my call as the chances of me getting the same representative if I called back was unlikely but no returned called so i'm left feeling very disappointed with the situation and the Worldpay service.
I have had a merchant account with Worldpay for several years and it has generally been trouble free. However, recently I have noticed a massive deterioration in the service when taking payments and more often than not they don"t get processed.
I have made endless calls and the pain of being passed from pillow to post and having to explain the issues over and over again to each representative is not fun.
I have been promised a replaced card payment device 4 times and one has failed to arrive.
So much is my frustration with one not turning up the last one was being expedited and would arrive within 48 hours......4 WEEKS later it still has not arrived.
No follow up calls from customers services to check if the replacement unit had arrived evdn after being told they totally understand my frustration!!
Would I recommend Worldpay? - NO!
There are lots of providers out there and after my experience they couldn't be as bad as Worldpay.
