Untrained or incompetent staff and chaotic contact experience.
Their advertising recorded message on phone answering consumes 20 seconds followed by the inevitable robotic number selection system.
That was yesterday when i was initially advised that my products could no longer be updated. However after pressing the point he referred to a colleague who said it could.
So they took £99 from me and told me I could update in 2 hours. This morning I still cannot update.
Tried calling and after suffering the aforementioned phone answering delays I had three failed calls before finally speaking to someone.
I'm currently on hold while they try to sort it out....or am I? The phone is silent, no recorded music or any sounds to let me know I'm still connected.
After 10 minutes on silent hold I tried to update my product again and hey presto it worked! After 11 minutes on hold the phone assistant spoke to me. I told him it was now working ad thanked him for doing whatever should have been done yesterday.

Tried ordering from these people and got told I would need to wait several weeks for delivery. Alas, not only did they not deliver but they didn't bother telling me they were not going to be manufacturing the item I ordered again, even though I had emailed them asking specifically what was happening with my order. They told me to wait some more, then simply stopped bothering to reply to my emails. They now claim to have refunded my money, however there has been no payment received. More lies. Be very careful with these people and with Road Angel, as both of these companies are owned by the same parent company, In Phase. There customer service is non-existent and they wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and hit them in the face. Do not buy from these people, they will take your money and leave you with nothing.

My step dad has been a user of Snooper sat nav's for years, he is on his 5th one now, the latest one is the S6900, he paid for the speed cameras and they didn't enable the feature, he called them up and was advised it would be sorted and the download could take place in 2 hours, 2 hours later funny enough still the same problem, call technical and get no answer, leave a voicemail message and no return call, send an e-mail and nothing, the same thing happens the following day, on the third day i finally get to talk to someone and again was told the cameras needed to be enabled, i explained this is what we was told the day before and they blamed it on a computer system crash, fair enough, again advised to wait two hours and guess what??? still no different. Customer services is shocking, so here i am on day 4 and still no cameras on the system, no return call and no response to my e-mail either.

The price of aura speed cams
I have registered my snooper S6900
On the website the price for aura speed cams was the price gbp 29.99. When registering the was suddenly gbp 69,99 a year.
I send a email about the price divergence to sales nooper.eu and they changed the price on the website to gbp 69,99 a year.

I have been a snooper user for appx 5 years, My first experience was the DB8500. This was a truly great nav and I was a big fan of snooper. After a few years it started to give problems so I decided to update it with the latest equivalent, The S6900.
Buying this device was easily the worst investment I ever made.
So far the magnetic window mount has failed after only 6 months and the SD card has failed three times. Snooper have replaced both free of charge, however each time the SD card fails I have to pay £20 deposit until I return the old card. Not itself a massive problem but my worry is that clearly there is a fualt and will I have to buy a replacement card each time it fails after the guarantee expires. Snooper has now been bought out by a company in Nottingham so is not the company I have dealt with for the last 6 years.
My advice, steer clear. My next nav will be a Garmin or Tom Tom.

Absolutely appalling customer service, spoken to like a piece of trash on the phone. Two failed HGV sat navs in 7 months, no customer support, told to pay £30 before sending it off to them to look at as that is apparently for "their time" and not towards repair costs. Constant excuses that the company has now been sold. Also my wife called up to complain too which she apparently got the new company owner who was damn right rude and seemed to believe its all ok because he is "a very successful business man".....God help the company with him at the helm!
I have been a loyal customer and user of snooper hgv sat nav for 12 years and now, I will never use or recommend their cheap, poorly made products again!

Bought a Snooper dash cam. Had an accident. Snooper locked away the evidence on the SD card. Sent it off to snooper as they advised and they have been NO HELP whatsoever. Their excuse is the company has been sold!!! They haven't returned my SD card! They have STOLEN it as far as I'm concerned. The time when you need a dash cam the most it is of NO USE whatsoever. DO NOT BUY A SNOOPER!

I brought a snooper as I got a speeding ticket recently which I was very upset about. I'm very impressed with it. It was easy to set up as I am not very good with technology. I am very pleased and feel it's a license saver !. Will recommend to others.

I wouldn’t call myself a “speed demon” but I have been caught by a crafty speed trap or two in the past so, purchasing The Snooper was a god send for me. It’s a fantastic product and is extremely accurate and responsive.
I’ve just bought another My-Speed XL for my wife’s car!

I started using my snooper throughout lockdown! I am a key worker and drive as a courier driver. The unit really works very well and is easy to set up and up date - bearing in mind I'm 55 and not the best with tech (I also needed help posting this review) but definitely a recommended product! Expect great things for future products.

Just brought a new Ventura for our motor home. I have purchased a few over the years and my husband is a fan as it keeps him out of trouble and keeps me from nagging him. I use my dash cam to catch those drivers that almost hit me because they are on their phones, I can't tell you the amount of times it happens. Very handy and discreet fits in my car a dream and our Ventura is handy for our motor home as it tells us where stops are for parking up and rest stops etc. I'm very tempted to buy a speed cam for my grandson who thinks he is a boy racer, he would benefit from it a lot. Customer service good can't fault them. Good price for what you get. Thank you everyone. Mrs M

Purchased a Myspeed Xl for my wife’s car and what a great product, she used to catch the bus to work but now she drives as she is keeping us all safe. The Snooper has really helped her as speed limits change all the time and this things always tells her if she breaks the limit!

Recently bought a snooper XL, when you compare the price in relation to other makes, it is great value. The device is a speed awareness aid, that helps you keep within the speed limit not a driving aid that encourages you to speed until you come up to a speed trap. Competitors offer similar devices that cost twice as much and charge you an annual subscription to update. The device is an older design and I think that this is reflected in the price. It has missed some of the 20 mph zones that are set up on most of the inner city routes and around housing estates etc, and is a little slow changing the speed limit, but overall this is an excellent product if used for what it is designed for, very pleased and well done to Snooper for being very competitive. Hopefully a new product design will be offered in the near future. I highly recommend this device and hopefully it keeps on working.

I bought the snooper XL because the speed limits around London have changed in March. The Snooper gives the wrong speed limit for MOST OF THE ROADS! so is a complete waste of time and money.

I have the latest snooper 4 zero bt.
It's useless.i paid £170 for this useless piece of trash.
In the past two months I have past at least 5 mobile camera Van's pointing rite at me.
Not once did my snooper pick any of them up.
I actually turned around three times and past the same mobile van and the unit did nothing.
Snooper should be banned from selling this rubbish.
