Ordered a single item (tyvek house wrap) which only had a value of around £50 and paid extra for next day delivery. Item didn’t arrive for a week but only after 10-12 phone calls chasing up where the item got to. What a nightmare company to deal with. They agreed to refund me the deliver cost but that took 3 more calls to get it actually paid back.

A really helpful team in customer support made many difficult decisions less so. A very useful showroom in West Drayton also staffed by a knowledgable team meant at least we could see and feel the product and more samples sent out to us on request FOC. In excess four hundred meters of pre-treated western red cedar delivered on time and of great quality. Probably not the cheapest in the market place but from my many months of research just the product i wanted and well worth it.

Just a small order for stainless steel nails [for featherboard].
Product just what I needed.
Order processed efficiently and received in good time for Scottish delivery area.
Did call as order initially 'hidden' by staff at work address and nice to speak to a person before and after actually finding the nails.
I also found the website informative and helped me with which way to place boards ['heartwood-out'] and deciding how best to nail to avoid splitting.

I must apologise as I confused your company with another company in my previous review.

The customer service that I received from yourselves was excellent. Being able to speak to a human being and not having to wait in a queue or press the key pad for different options was so refreshing.
I was able to ask for advice to check that I was ordering the correct type of screws which were delivered very quickly. Really impressed!

Good service, price & quality product

Made a telephone enquiry, they dealt with my requirements very efficiently, saved me time and a bit of money would definitely use them again.

We enquired about some boards, and Jenny Merrit was dealing with us, however, there seems to very poor communication. No exact dates when we will receive any materials, as there is no response at all since the 13th of January. To us it seems as though they are not really interested in selling.

The product looks good, we want to buy it, but may have to look at other companies if they are not interested in selling.

Terrible, used to be good years ago, sad to say my company won't be using this outfit again. Poor communication, damaged products, lengthy delivery times

Excellent service and delivery. Cladding is great and will use Silva again.

Excellent, how nice it is to deal with a firm that does as it promises. Friendly and helpful over the phone, delivered on time by again friendly and helpful staff. Cladding looks fantastic. Won't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Delivery can be slow but worth the wait. Five stars throughout.

Purchase from a professional landscaper.
Ordering process was hassle-free, the person I spoke to was helpful and professional. Received confirmation email and receipt of purchase immediately. On the morning of the delivery due date I received two confirmation phone calls, one from the office and one from the delivery driver with an ETA. Driver arrived exactly on time, was also helpful and professional, and the goods were exactly as I ordered - great quality. Perfect, many thanks. Will certainly use again.

Purchased 60 Red cedar battens and 4off 3" x 3" posts. Firstly the team assisted me with the best oil to use oo the wood. Then I have an issue with 3 of the battens with flaws in them (through no fault of Silva) these were replaced immediately with no quibble. Then when I virtually completed my projected I decided I needed 12 more battens to complete the look. The transportation costs were more the the material I was paying for Silva immediately reviewed the costs and provided a solution.
For customer service and expectation, Silva (Jacob and Barry) satisfied if not exceeded expectations.
Thank you to these two gentlemen and to Silva for the products the supplied. Any customer would find it difficult to fault them.

We recently orderd 88 silva A siberian larch panels. They were delivered on time and the service was good. We chose the more expensive Silva A grade as we preferred the panels to be fairly knot free. However less than half of the order were of the grade A quality -this judgement was based on the near perfect display of Silva B boards in the Harmondsworth showroom and the online images of silva A and silva B boards on their website.
On complaining and providing photographic evidence, we were told that we should expect to have these grade B and C boards even though we had paid for all grade A.
At the very least they have misrepresented the quality of the board we were led to believe we would receive and taken our money by deception.
Silva timber is clearly a company not to be trusted.

Found what I needed easily and delivery was as stated. Unfortunately a part was missing in each box. I phoned Silva and they were happy to put the parts in the post that day. Unfortunately for them this was a Friday and the parts were needed for the following day. I was told they would send the parts so they would arrive before 9am on the Saturday. I didn't receive them until Monday lunch time as someone had opened the envelope! Royal Mail? This meant different work had to be scheduled for the weekend which cost extra time. Can't really blame Silva for Royal Mail's tardiness but if the bits had been included with the original delivery I would have given 5 stars.

Silva managed to supply us with the right nails that two other companies had failed to do so previously. They were also the cheapest! Wish we had found them sooner.
The nails arrived promptly as promised.

Item came when expected and was cheaper than ebay sites selling same thing.

Just bought stainless steel lost head nails. They seem difficult to find locally, so ordered online from Silva. They arrived very quickly and securely packaged.

Brought from here a few times, always competitive prices and quick delivery, what more do you want!

Purchased cedar posts and slats for a screen - the service was excellent.

I ordered a number of cedar posts and strips for a screen. That order was fine and delivered promptly.
I have since (July 2019) ordered some identical cedar strips that are 0.95m long to build a gate to match the screen. I chased the order and was told the wood was being delivered that day. What a coincidence?
I have emailed twice now asking for an update, but have received no reply. It doesn’t take much to reply to an email.
So, the state of play is that this company has my payment, hasn’t fulfilled it’s contract to supply the goods ordered and has stopped communicating with me. I think I might give Trading Standards a quick ring. I suspect they already know about this firm?

2nd order within a month. Slow to communicate delivery never arrives when promised.

Delivery confirmed for July 8th
I was called this morning 9th July and told the delivery company ran out of time!! but failed to communicate this because the office was closed! I really appreciated waiting round all day for nothing.

My last order was also delayed, due to the failure to communicate and despite the promise of a call 1 hour before delivery.

Second phone call this morning from someone in customer service, your delivery will be with you before 9.15am today. I had to remind them that the purchase I made was from them and not the delivery company as fault was laid at the delivery company’s door. No apology for waiting around for the entire day on the Monday 8th July. Somethings wrong with the process if you you promise a delivery date check it happens and COMMUNICATE to your customers.

You won’t be surprised to hear that the delivery still hadn’t turned up as promised! 9.31am and counting.

Email arrived it should be with you before 10am.

Guess what? still no delivery 10.53am!!!!!!! 2 hour window for delivery now a 3 hour window.

Delivery had been rescheduled and no one has been informed.

Excellent service are prompt delivery. They also corrected my error of ordering the wrong colour preservative with the minimum of fuss and no delay. Well done to there customer service team. I would highly recommend the company and their products.
