Got the nylon whip it's very well made I'm very happy with it

I recently purchased a recurve crossbow from Outdoorhobbies, unfortunately, when it arrived it had a tiller issue.

I emailed customer services with a photo of the problem and got a quick response from Gary stating that he thought the limbs would need replacing.

He sent out a new set of limbs which were pretty straight forward to fit and resolved the issue immediately.

In my opinion, it’s only when things go wrong that you get a true indication of how a business treats its customers, after my experience with Outdoorhobbies I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Top drawer service from Gary and the team,answered all my questions (of which there were many) when I ordered my Excalibur Assassin 400TD, and continue to provide support.
As for the bow itself,I spent several weeks researching which particular make,model and type to get.
Whilst compound bows seem great my preference was for 'Recurve' and Excalibur who've chosen to stay exclusively with this simpler design.
I also liked the 'Take Down' feature which allows the bow assembly to detach quickly and simply from the body of the crossbow,making transportation an absolute doddle.
Integral cocking/de-cocking is also simple and straightforward,although a point to note which isn't made clear in the instructions:
When de-cocking,you need to release the Full draw Latch under load,this 'HAS' to be done by applying pressure with the fitted cocking handle and then pressing the FDL to release at the same time.
Hold it tight since it'll want to run away with you and then crank anti-clockwise.
Also my personal preference for finish was the 'True Timber Strata' which required a special order from the US,so lead time was longer but worth it,

EASY TO USE WEBSITE AND QUICKLY RESPONDS TO ANY QUERIES.

Gary is always on the ball, responding to queries. After weeks of waiting, obviously because of cv-19, the exquisite Tenpoint Vapor RS470 finally arrived. It is a joy to behold and use. A word of warning though, I had the impression that the scope had been sighted in by Tenpoint, so I foolishly fired off the first shot at 25 meters only to miss the target by about 3 feet; deep pit punched in wall and much shortened arrow! Lesson, always sight in your scope yourself. This crossbow is so powerful that you need to make sure your target is well stuffed to stop the arrows. Beautifully engineered and accurate, I love it.

Ordered a Barnett crossbow raptor good service and any questions answered even if i did ask some stupid ones, but got my crossbow of doom and was very happy, took nearly 6 weeks to come but due to virus outbreak was understandable due that it took me 3 weeks to get toilet paper, yes it was a bad time. would recommend Gary and this site and would shop again amazing people and will be ordering more stuff from him very soon.

I just want to take the time to thank Gary from outdoor hobbies who supplied me with my Scorpyd Death stalker 420.

Let me start by saying admittedly I'm a bit of a fussy and over impatient guy and honestly the bow couldn't of got to me any sooner, it was estimated 2-3 weeks it and came a few days before the 3 weeks,

The bow came perfect, just as it should, no damage or marks ect absolutely perfect.

There was a few minor things missing like string wax but 1 email and within an hour he had replied and sorted it.

If I could give this company 6 stars I would and from now on I will not get bows or accessories elsewhere I am totally happy and grateful for the brilliant service, keep it up,

Would like to say huge thanks to Gary for helping me with the delivery process. I'm not gonna lie I have been waiting little while to receive my crossbow after payment, BUT Gary was very reassuring and very kind in explaining to me what's been going on because of the current state of the World at the moment due to corona virus. At first i was only suppose to be receiving the jaguar crossbow package in normal black colour condition. But because of the slight delay Gary had put forward for me to be upgraded to the camo free of charge which i was so happy about! Assembled the crossbow instructions was basic but I got there in the end. Shoots perfectly accurate once zeroing the red dot sight. Fantastic package, Fantastic quality. Will definitely be buying another crossbow when i'm paid next month Thank you to the team at Outdoorhobbies!

Waited 41 days for my order not to arrive then was told it would realistically be 61 day until I receive my delivery. Only giving outdoor hobbies a 2 star rating due to quick response time to questions I asked and the speed of the refund they sent me. Very disappointing.
