The company itself is great but I was very disappointed with my purchase. While mystery boxes are a risk in themselves, I was severely disappointed with the contents of mine. Seven out of fourteen items were by a particular illustrator which made the box more of a collection of their items. Very few were stationery (e.g. a tea towel), which was also a disappointment. It felt like they were just trying to get rid of stock that wouldn't sell rather than providing a decent product.
I ordered knowing I would likely re-gift several items but, as I know no one who likes the illustrator and the nature of the objects, I won't be able to.
I emailed the company to explain this issue and to request those creating the boxes be made aware of this issue. The reply was kind but, as I have since seen others discussing the same issue (I received my box 3 weeks ago, these are very recent) I can only assume nothing has been done.

I love everything from Ohh Deer but can only really buy things in the sale as it is a little bit expensive! Wish I could buy more! We used to have a shop in Ipswich where I live but sadly it had to close so im very happy I can still shop online. Great quality...fun and cute cards. Lovely stationary.

I am becoming a regular customer now as I love the diverse range of products and artists at Ohh Deer. I had an issue with an item arriving damaged (despite pretty robust packaging) but it has been replaced almost immediately and without fuss. I have been impressed by the quality and speed of service in relation to this order and my previous ones and will continue to purchase and recommend to others.
