item was also damaged on receipt, and the company will not collect and refund.
Aftersales experience has been very poor.

Ordered my fabric almost 2 and a half weeks ago now and still no sign of it. No effort has been made by the customer service team either to track it or resend it. Can see other reviewers have had a similar experience which is so disappointing. Waiting on a response now....

It’s my first time trying to reupholster a chair so wanted some relatively cheap fabric and came across this site. I ordered 2 free samples which came really quick and was amazed by the quality! I went on to order 5 metres and it came really quick and was packaged really well. The only downside I had was the £11 delivery charge, but I understand it was a big package so don’t mind this too much. I would still definitely order from here again!

I ordered a sample from this company, the sample was great! I then ordered 10 meters of the same vinyl, when it arrived it was clearly a lower grade, cheap vinyl, when I contacted the company they just said its a different batch, if youre not happy return it tgey were nit willing to psy return delivery so I had to do so at my own cost.
Terrible service clearly tipping customers off!

Would absolutely recommend, blown away with all aspects of my order. It came so much quicker than expected, packed well so nothing was damaged and the fabric is so damn good.
Only note is it was a little dirty on one end (I imagine this is where the end of the roll pokes out) but easily washable and this was from the clearance so cannot complain one bit. Will definitely be making all my future fabric purchases from here.
I would 100% recommend getting fabric samples where possible, I got some for the fabrics I wasn't sure about and I'm glad I did as they look quite different in person. But this is a given when ordering any fabric online.

I ordered roughly 10 mtrs of clear PVC it came in 2 rolls? the other roll looked like it was used or seconds when one roll looked new, however I called for a replacement which they gave but I paid for the delivery, how appalling! I would never recommend them and will never use them again.

Ordered material to recover dinning chairs nice thick good quality fabric received slightly lighter than expected but think that's due to my monitor picture not fabric still extremely pleased well wrapped and delivery really fast. This is the first time iv ordered from iwantfabric but definitely won't be the last and I would recommend them to family and friends

You are kidding, order placed on the 8th and still waiting on the 22nd. Emailed to find out what’s going on and get a tracking number, no explanation, no apology, in fact no professional response at all. Phoned to speak to a human being, who said they would chase up delivery company and would cc me in. To be fair they did email delivery company asking for update. Four days later no reply. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHILE THEY CONTINUE TO USE HERMES

As i am renovating a rather large house I asked for samples from 14 different companies most arrived in a jiffy bag without the company name or any info inside so i simply could not marry them up.
Just Fabric samples arrived with complete info including a number on the back of the sample so i knew which was which.
i also phoned for some advise and was given some suburb info.
Well done guys you saved me a real headache, i will be purchasing from you.

The fabric arrived faulty with stains all over it, they said they would send a new batch.
After a week or two I wondered where it was, so I looked at the Hermes tracking number. It said that Hermes were still waiting for I Want Fabric to give them the parcel.
I'd been contacting IWF for days, they assured me they gave it to Hermes on the 4th, and said they'll let me know the next morning when I can expect it to be delivered.
They didnt contact me and stopped replying to my emails. I phoned them and they said Hermes wont speak to them and that they've just emailed me and hung up.
The email suggested I take a refund on the fabric instead. I accepted, but am very frustrated.
I also contacted Hermes myself regarding the parcel, who confirmed that I Want Fabric had never given them the parcel at all.
Therefore, I Want Fabric sold me dirty stained fabric, promised to send out clean fabric, but lied.
They are disgusting. Stay away.

Ordered 20 metres of Fire retardant upholstery fabric. Was a little sceptical at the low price but decided it was worth the risk. I was not disappointed, the quality of the fabric was excellent, I am recovering 2 large 4 seater settees and a chair, total cost £130. I recieved my order in the Scottish Highlands within 1 week, delayed only by the carriers. I will definitely use I Want Fabric again.

Great buying experience from I Want Fabric. The only place online I could find gorgeous quality Union Jack material and waterproof fabric for bunting for the recent VE Day celebrations. Helpful, knowledgeable staff and good value. Would highly recommend and will use them for future crafting projects.

The piece of fabric I bought was a disappointment, not the companys fault, I couldnt have read the details properly. Because I always give a review on things I buy I said I was disappointed. Well I was well pleased when I had a refund, it was only 99p but that wasnt the point, they were so kind THATS why today I am giving a well earned EXCELLENT reviw--thank you guys x
