Phoned and was given a quote for guttering , phoned back to state that i would pick it up the next day, which the lady confirmed that the warehouse would get it ready. turned up the next day and nothing was ready, if you are going to state that you have an order ready then make sure its ready....

Ordered a borsch drill and driver combi pack. On arrival the security seal was broken on case, had a missing impact driver. Within 2 days a replacement had been sent out. Can't fault them, fair play. I'm really happy.

I chose this company because it promised a prompt delivery. 3 boxes of nails were needed for roofing job. One box out of 3 I purchased arrived in a good time. But 2 others I had to wait for around 10 days and arrived completely wrong!
The situation delayed my work by half a day because I had to do everything manually, I couldn't use the gun. The collection of wrong nails was again a different story. Someone had to stay home and wait for dpd driver for two days! Frank Howard failed to send a driver one day or driver couldn't find the correct address.
Something so simple went completely wrong. I will never use this company again.

Purchased a Makita 18V orbital sander. After two weeks of very light use (novice DIYer) the rubber grip came away from the body. I deemed this to be a fault as my father and brother-in-law (both professional capenters) had the same product, used extensively and had no issues.
After returning it to the Braintree branch they refused to replace it with a new one and point blank refused to issue a full refund under the Consumers Rights Law that you, as a consumer are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of procession of a faulty or unsatisfactory quality product.
I was told they’re a “trade” shop so can operate outside of consumer law and that if they refunded or replaced with new, they’d have to carry the financial burden instead of myself. The only option they gave was to send it back to Makita for repair and wait a week. I argued it was only two weeks old and consumer rights law, but they point blank refused and breached my consumer rights.
At purchase I did not need nor was asked to setup a trade account. Not did they inform me that I’d be forfeiting my consumer rights.
Had planned to purchase the 18V router full bundle, but wont use them again. My father and brother-in-law (who purchase regularly from FH) were very disappointed.
