I urgently needed to rent a service apartment in London for a few months. I initially went with an Airbnb for two weeks, then another service apt company for one week, then finally Citybase. Out of the three companies, Citybase was the most professional with the best maintained flat.
Alistair Macnaghten was extremely responsive and professional. He took in my needs and tried to accommodate the best he could.The flat that Alistair arranged was well maintained, clean, and even repaired in timely manner when the smoke alarm went off on a Sunday.
I would highly recommend Citybase and Alistair to anyone looking for service apartments in London.

I required two weeks accommodation within easy reach of the Canary Wharf area, with occupancy needed ideally today, tomorrow latest. Following an email enquiry the night before, Will called me at 9:10am the following morning and immediately started working on my case. As my first choice apartment was not available, he sent through 2 very good substitutes, that were very well located and ideal for my requirements. Will kept me fully informed of developments, and contacted me back when he said he would. By 2pm we had made a booking with access for today. Excellent service, and I very grateful to Will for his assistance. Having just been badly burned by Airbnb I will not be using them again, but would happily recommend your services.

The online booking process is simple and easy to use - the only criticism I have is that it is impossible to tell from the website which photos represent the apartment that we have booked. It would have been far more useful to have actual photos of the actual apartments rather than a sentence saying "for guidance only" when you have a range of properties in the same area (ie St Giles Apartments, Edinburgh) at completely different price points.
This means that we have booked on the basis that the quality of the apartment will be up to the standard of those in the pictures - will be extremely unhappy if it's not!!!!!!

I was booking the hotel on behalf of someone else, and was struggling to find accommodation due to the derby taking place this weekend. I ended up speaking with a gent called Will who was THE most helpful person I've ever dealt with in this regard. Although my requirements were very specific, Will managed to help me find the perfect set-up for much cheaper than either himself or myself initially thought we could get it! Lovely chap, super helpful, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks ever so much :)
