I bought a 6KU fixie from BLB and I'm very happy with the service. I phoned to check my order and for advice and they were really cool. The bike arrived as quick as could be expected and in perfect condition. An excellent service overall. Thanks BLB!

Safety issue - unsafe 6KU Bike sold to me with feet clips too large - they clip the front wheel making it dangerous on tight turns. BBB admitted they knew of this problem when sold me the bike but didn’t warn me.
BBB staff member told me: “Yes, it’s a problem with bikes with this frame design, yesterday a customer came off his bike because of this.” I’ve used feet clips on a variety of bikes for over ten years and never had a bike shop fit ones that are the wrong size, and clip front wheel. I have never bought a 6KU before so was totally unaware of frame size differences. Really unsafe for BBB to fit wrong clips, not warn me before buying and to refuse to change them without me paying for the unsafe ones they originally fitted.
They HAVE the correct size foot clips in stock but refuse to refund and replace unsafe ones they sold me....strange way to treat your customers safety.

I have ordered the Avanton Mataro from their website.
I had a few questions about the product which were answered promptly and efficiently .
The bike arrived very quickly and exactly as described online.
As a whole the buying experience was excellent.
Very recommended !

I just received my online order of what i thought to be a set of new tyres for my bike. It states on the website “tyres”, but i’ve only received one. This i can overlook whatever maybe i need to pay attention to whether it states “set”, yet the packaging this order came in is probably some of the worst i’ve ever seen. The box was probably 5/6 times bigger than the single tyre that was inside, and it was filled with what i assume is other boxes that were lying around. Worst still though is that these boxes contained names and addresses of other peoples orders! Not only a huge GDPR breach but a massive environmental waste for everybody involved. Why a single tyre couldn’t have been packaged in a bag i have no idea. Incredibly unprofessional guys i know times are hard but preserving the confidentiality of your customers names and addresses is a basic and legal requirement.

Unpleasant experience - I chatted online with the store to see whether they were open during lockdown and they confirmed they were. I got down to the store and had to knock on the door. A terrifyingly rude man practically growled at me and ask what I was doing there. I confirmed that I had spoken to them and came to the store to buy a bike. He finally let me and again shouted at me to go straight outside to the yard. I was then shown on £450 bike that was suitable. At this point I just left because of the sheer discomfort of the whole situation. Appreciate that it is a difficult time but that type of customer service is actually appalling.

Sometimes they're kind and understanding, but some of the people who work there seem to be too high in the clouds to appear like decent people who are actually there to help. Great bikes, great gear, but sometimes the vibes are just not cool.

Ordered bike paint last week. Paid for 'UPS Standard Courier'. Was sent via MyHermes instead, at an obvious saving to the sender. Parcel never arrived. MYHermes are virtually uncontactable, FOUR telephone calls to BLB have still left me with no parcel and no idea IF or when it will arrive. Absolute joke.
Having been promised (twice) a call back to update me, I once again had to call them, this time after nearly seven hours without any update. Was then promised that a new dispatch has been arranged and they would email my new tracking number immediately. That was 50 minutes ago and I'm not holding my breath for it to arrive anytime today. I wouldn't bother buying anything from these guys - their customer service is even worse then the morons at MyHermes. 'We've got your money and now we don't give a f***'.

I ordered a fixie bike alongside several parts. The order was handled very quickly and recieved only days after.
However, unfortunately a saddle I ordered was damaged with a small hole during transit of my bike. I wrote the company about it alongside an image of the damage, who then an hour later replied that they would simply refund me the price of the saddle.
That is some amazing and fast customer service right there!

Great Customer service. An item was delivered damaged ( royal mail no doubt ) and I called up to complain and before I could start my rant they offered to send out a new item free of charge and next day delivery. WONDERFUL!!
If only all companies where as pleasant and helpful as this one.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

I was looking for a fixed gear bike and found that buying directly from blb was a lot cheeper than going to a DK shop.
blb don't have a "real" online shop but i called them and placed an order for one of their "Ready to go builds" (track 3). Everything went smooth.
I got the bike after 7 or 10 days and the quality is superb!

Had started a bike project, where i needed hubs, made for roadbike, but constructed for disc brakes.
Not easy to find in Denmark ... some few american brands offer this configuration, but are not sold in europe as standard.
Finally I found the brand, I wanted to buy .... but the store, did not offer to have the product send to Denmark.
I wrote to the store, and they referred me to bricklanebikes
I took contact to bricklanebikes, told them what I wanted to buy.
Very polite service all way throughout ..... had the hub's in only 5 weeks.
One of the best online shopping experiences in my time !

I've bought a bike there 5 years ago and have only gotten class A service, when I've been in contact with them. They are good at communicating, deal in Harry Rowland wheels and have resonable prices. I'm happy.
