Asda credit card providing me cashback over time which is really good that get something back after your spending.
Don't overspending only spend what Yiu need for, then pay it off every time and pay it before the payment date.
Because if you late payment and it will occur other chargers which end up to spend more instead of reward.

Asda aren't honouring their own cashback vouchers. Asda money parted company with Creation for their Cashback Credit Card and sent me my earned cashback voucher which expires 26-12-2020 and guess what.... Asda won't accept their own voucher! Great... if I'd known this before...I truly wouldn't have shopped there in the first place I'd rather have gone to Aldi...their food is a lot cheaper for pensioners. I've made about 6 phone calls to all the numbers they've given and I'm just getting passed from pillar to post Asda tell me to ring Creation Card Services and they don't want to know and Creation say to ring Asda as it's their vouchers. I'm really furious

Please avoid this company at all costs, I regret even opening a credit card with them. To give this company even 1* is a joke, I would score them lower if I could.. The customer service staff are so rude, not friendly and inconsiderate (especially with all what we are going through at the moment)…
After being billed £12 for a late charge, which I may add wasn't my fault - they refused to sort this out and told me I had to pay it, even after explaining what had happened, they still wouldn't help me or let me speak to a Manager (because they haven't got the option to transfer calls), which I would like to add - I wfh and I know you can transfer calls. They just make excuses.
As advised, I paid the £12 over the automated message service.. but because they sent the paper statement to me late, I then get billed another £12 late charge! As stated above, same situation, they refused to help again and told me to pay the £12 as it was my fault.
How this company has stayed open is beyond me, it needs closing down! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Money making company!

I have only rated this company one star as it's not possible to rate it any lower. I converted my Asda credit card cash back to vouchers worth £70.00 on 9th July 2020 as advised the scheme was ending. Received an email from Creation to say that paper vouchers would be posted to me by the end of August but no vouchers received. Messaged customer services but received no reply. Telephoned and was told I should have used the vouchers within 28 days so they have now expired! Eventually the agent agreed to send an email with a link to reinstate the vouchers and guess what - no email has arrived. This company are a total waste of space. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The ASDA credit card accounts of the type used by my wife were recently closed by ASDA (on 14 July). At or shortly after this date a number of refunds were credited to the account but we are still waiting for this money to be paid back. Numerous phone calls or emails have taken place in an effort to recover these funds (nearly £600) and we have been assured on more than one occasion that payment was imminent but now over 4 weeks later we are still waiting.
If the provider is so unable or so unwilling to refund money you have to wonder about the viability of the company but whatever the reason I would certainly not recommend that anyone take out an ASDA credit card.

I am leaving this feedback to warn others, "please do not open a Credit Card Account" with Asda!
I bitterly regret the day I did. I could not view statements online and they kept billing me without me knowing what it was for.
Dreadful awful experience, I am now closing the account, it will be closed tight never to be reopened. Yes, it was that bad!
Trouble is their phone just ring and ring and no one answers, the CEO tells me he is too busy to get involved and I have been advised to use the Ombudsman to get it sorted. So someone tell me how do I close the account??

Missing item in delivery and was charged £13 more than it said on online receipt! I phoned to get a refund and they said call back tomorrow as system will not let them process refunds at the moment. First and last time we are ordering from Asda!

Owing a credit card for 7 years, phoned over a small query regards Cashback voucher, which was declined in the stores, blocked the card due my husband couldn’t remember phone number and adviser heard me telling in the background.. fair enough. Emailed photo of driving licence as requested over a week ago, phoned 3 or 4 times (and passed all security questions) still no response what so ever. Absolutely disappointed with this company, disgraceful service, working in customer service myself, can’t even imagine being so laid off and not caring. Shame on you!

I have had a Asda credit card for several years and never had a problem. Sound great but recently I had a holiday cancelled due to the Covid 19 situation and received refunds for exactly £7000 most of which I owed. It took 6 weeks of telephone, online mail and emails to get this money back to my bank account which has caused me considerable financial inconvenience. So despite financial companies boasting what they are doing for customers during the pandemic the first time I ask them to something their customer services was worse than pathetic.

In this uncertain time we have all fallen back on our savings and credit cards I am sure. However, despite having an excellent credit rating, never having missed a payment and not having a lot of debt (less than £500) Asda declined my balance transfer. When I asked for an explanation they refused to provide one stating something called operational confidentiality.
If there is a problem on my account then I deserve to know about it. I decided to cancel my card and close my account citing operational confidentiality as my reason too.

I wanted to pay my ASDA credit card balance and the site was down every time i went to pay. Rang customer services to be put on hold for 5 mins so not too bad there. The man was friendly and he gave me account info and allowed me to pay over phone.

Brokers such as these really need taking to task by the FCA
Please don't anyone put your credit score at risk by bothering applying for ANY loan with these cowboys !
Husband has an excellent credit rating, hardly any existing debt and was offered a rate of 3.1 % APR with AA Loans via Asda .
'Complete your application' said the button at the bottom of the screen, which we did....... only to find the rate was now 7.9 % with a firm loan offer in place. Obviously that's not a rate we thought we were being offered and so applied under false advertising and pretences.
I know people often get cross about APR's but when you are led to believe you're being offered one thing but then told different once you've committed then that's not acceptable.
ThE FCA needs to stop this practice, where people are negatively impacted on their credit score for shopping around and lenders/brokers who behave themselves in this way should be ashamed !

Credit Card Statements.
Used this company for several years and up to now my only gripe was that they wouldn't supply a non-contactless card.
However ...... I've always received monthly paper statements .....
The last I received was for the month of July 2019. After several 'phone calls and feeble excuses as to why I'd stopped receiving them (i.e "looking at transactions on-line automatically switches you to paperless billing" etc) and promises to resolve the problem, I'm still waiting for them to resume. Their attempts to resend the missing statements are laughable, I've now got.....
Duplicates for September, October and November 2018 (yep, last year!!!!!)
Two extra duplicates for June, July and August 2019 (which I didn't need, so that's 3 copies of each in total!!).
One copy of the missing November 2019 statement.
And finally, printouts of the transactions covered by the missing statements as if taken from the website (which I could've produced if I had a printer).
As of Dec 24th I'm still waiting to see if the (now due) December 2019 statement will arrive.
I've already lodged a complaint with the FCA.

Awful company. Avoid! Useless customer services. Reduced my credit by £3500 after just issuing me a new card. Blamed "Credit Reference Agency". Checked my Credit Score....998 out of a possible 999! No explanation so I went to my bank and got a credit card with them with an extra £1000!
Terrible way to treat a customer who had been with them for longer than I can remember. Always paid on time, I expect they didn't make any money off me!

We have had a credit card with Asda for many years paying in full each month by direct debit. My husband was very surprised when his card was refused not knowing our credit limit
had been reduced without informing us! We received a letter 2 days later and an email asking us to increase our repayments. We have got nowhere with customer services and have taken it futher. Judging by the reviews we are as well to change company's. Very disappointed.

100 euro notes ! I got 5 x 100 euro notes in my exchange and asked if i could have a smaller notes. I was told no, try and get smaller notes when you get to Corfu! I asked if I could go in store and get them changed for 20s, I was told you can try but I dont think they will.
Its very simple solution. Do not use Asda. We now use Sainsburys and get the shopping while we are there as well :)

i will never use this service again, my partner ordered money online gave them my email address and passport details, and paid for it on their card, i have gone in with ID but they would not give me it as it was paid for on my partners card, even if my partner was their, they still could not give us it, as card details were different from the order in my name, first holiday recovering after illness, have to wait up to 10 days for a refund, away on holiday tomorrow holiday now ruined thank you Asda

Their credit card does not have an app and does not work with Apple Pay. It is run by a third-party credit company, Creation Finance, which is also terrible.

I have rated 1 because there isnt an option to rate zero.
They have the worst customer service i have encountered in the UK. Appalling is an understatement. Am not sure whether they are not well trained to deal with customer queries or whether it is just a reflection of how they just dont care (or maybe a combination of both).
They dont even let you finish asking a question before jumping in with an accusatory answer despite the fact they are actually in the wrong.
The only way to save myself the torture that is dealing with ASDA was to just close the account and move on.
I am sure there are a lot more companies out there ready and willing to provide an acceptable service.

I cannot stress how bad this company is. I have never defaulted on my card. Always paid in full & on time. However with no notice they slashed my credit limit down to a measly £600.
This could have caused me some embarssament when I went to pay my car service. Luckily the garge WiFi went down & I could use my savings funds from elsewhere.
Called customer service who were totally rubbish & could not even be bothered.
Appaling service from this company. Would give them no stars if they were available.

Terrible, do not touch, even with a barge pole! They allowed two fraudulent transactions to go through even though they could have stopped them at the pending stage. I have closed my account, paid what I was due and just waiting to see the two fraudulent transactions appearing on my statement to be paid by 28 June. I have cancelled my direct debit so they can’t take the money out. I was told “if they find in my favour, the transactions will be deleted but I might have to pay for them and interest, then get a refund- no chance! Avoid this card, like the plague!
