I have always been more than satisfied with KEH, their products, and customer service. The only issue I have is with Fedex. They've given false delivery times twice. The first time I waited at home all day waiting for a package because I was concerned that it would get wet from heavy rain, but it didn't arrive They didn't change the delivery time until late that evening. There have been hundreds of complaints and local news reports about their horrible service so hopefully it will now improve.

The item (a Pentax flash) was as good or better than described.
It came with everything noted, as well as original box and papers,
Which I don't remember being noted in description.
If possible, I would recommend noting everything included. It may
Mean something to collectors and can be an indication of the care
Original owner took of item.
That's NOT a complaint. I was pleasantly surprised.

In an area with minimal wifi so had a lot of difficulty on this site. Took over an hour to find the 14 items I needed, then it told me "item not in stock" BUT not which item and would not let me continue. Had to empty my basket and start over. Also, KEH doesn't seem able to ship to where I am (Dutch Harbor, AK), so I will not be able to actually to use my new stuff for another 2 months when I visit friends in Seattle.

The SCA 3402 arrived mere hours after receiving a reply from KEH in response to my customer service inquiry. I realize that the virus has all businesses operating in minimal mode. But KEH has been slower than others during this pandemic. It took five days for this small part to get from Smyrna to Newnan, a distance of about 50 miles. It came FedEX and had to be signed for, and I'll never figure that one out!

I would love it if you all would exclude items that you no longer have in stock, or at least list them in a separate area. Like make a line or something so that I don't get excited when I think I've found just what I'm after, only to find out it's not in stock. Otherwise, I love what y'all are doing. As for the "likelihood" that I'll be back, I'll check eBay first, but will likely come back to you all in the end.

Didn't really know of KEH until recently when I researched the Used lens I bought on google and a video with Matt Day. After seeing Matt's video I felt comfortable purchasing a product from KEH. So much that I am more than likely going to buy a Sony 85mm in the coming weeks! KEH's process from every step was smooth and quick. Very happy with the service!

I purchased a beautiful Nikon D7 and 3 beautiful lenses, a tripod/ball head, flash and stand among many other things and I couldn't be happier. The equipment is in stunningly beautiful condition. It is better than new because it's been gone over by a professional before they sell it.

I wish that KEH had a few more filters for their lenses and cameras. The filters are a big step up, compared to other sites, like BHPhotos, or even Amazon, but they never feel quite advanced enough. It's also difficult because it seems like some listings use the filter info correctly, but other times it does not. I have to do more than a few searches to confirm that something I am looking for isn't actually just mis-labeled.

I had been looking for the Zeiss 28mm ZM lens for my Leica M8 for a while; I'd seen it on the site once before but in a day's time it was gone. Today, the Zeiss Zunday was another opportunity. We'll see how things go with the lens coming into Canada - I'm not sure if the duty will be paid as part of International Shipping cost or if it will come after. I would appreciate hearing about how to expedite the order if duties can be paid prior to sending. Thanks.

Found a lens I wanted, even though it was not what I was looking for. The lens was priced very well considering that it has been hard to find for several years (discontinued by the manufacturer). My previous one had been one of my 2 workhorse lenses for photographing indoor events and was dropped and broken awhile ago. I also ordered a high quality protective UV filter. My satisfaction would have been 5 stars if the filter had been cleaned before being sold.

Always excellent! Either buying or selling, I just love KEH for their honest and fair ratings. I did stray one time and ordered a used flash from a NYC store rated at EX+. What I got was an non working rattle! Then they actually charged me $20 for the return. That will NEVER happen here.

Good experience overall. Very pleased with lens. However, do not like your practice of using generic photos when selling used vintage gear. Accurate visual confirmation of the item's condition is critical for anything other than 'like new' items. I think some of your competitors do a much better job in this regard.

I've used KEH before, but typically only on "new" or "excellent" items. This was my first "bargain" lens purchase and since the lens would stay inside, I figured it was a good way to test the quality of those items. Shipping was fast as always, but what shocked me the most was the overall quality of this "bargain" lens. Everything works exactly as expected. The front ring is damaged, and it came with no caps ($10 to replace those on Amazon), but everything else is fantastic. I'll gladly buy another "bargain" lens. Gladly.

I love KEH and I have purchased really awesome gear from you in the past. My recent purchase was for an As-Is lens. The site doesn't specify whats wrong with As-Is equipment so it is always a gamble. I didn't fare well this time the lens had a HUGE spot of fungus in the elements but was otherwise excellent. In hindsight I wish it had been cheaper for something suffering such a problem. That's the gamble you take though with AS-IS items. I still love KEH and will continue to shop there

Trying to get responses on the chat was horrible. Yesterday I waited over an hour from Erik Kenmore and it still never came. Unfortunately, to my surprise, I had to ask another question today and he was the same guy that responded and I had to wait almost a half hour. It was terrible for me to be a first time buyer and to be skeptical! With having to do so much waiting, I now had to pay for expedited shipping.

Experience from start to finish was great. The product was in great condition and package very well. My only issues and I know it is no fault of KEH com was the package notification said signature required but FedEx just left at door and never ringed doorbell. I will only order photography equipment from this site moving forward.

Everything was great, except that all items suddenly vanished from my cart when I looked at other stuff, so I had to go back and find the item I was most interested in again, put it back in my cart, and just order it. Also I wish that you (and all other vendors) would not show me stuff for a different camera mount or a different focal length & max aperture than I specified I already bought two wrong lenses because of this. Fortunately, I can give one as a present, and perhaps sell the other locally.

Relatively easy to search. Some items did not come up through exact search, but overall decent experience. I wish there were coupon codes avail, discount for someone who's sold a bunch of stuff to your SoCal buyer in the past or discount for multiple items in one order. I feel like I spent more than I should have for each item, tax and shipping.

The prices and gear has primarily been wonderful. The only problem with this last order was that two of the "ugly" lenses I ordered have stuck apertures. One was less than $10, so that's not a big deal. The other was over $30, so it's a little more disappointing, but not totally unexpected. I will be taking them apart to try to fix them. I look at it as an opportunity.

I ordered a Canon camera body and lens for my grandson who is a burgeoning photographer with a great eye. This camera is a great starter camera to allow him time to hone his craft. I had ordered a used lens to go with the camera, and when it arrived it was defective. I emailed customer service and within hours had return authorization. Shaun promptly refunded my money for a lens shade that was mistitled by their own people last week. The service is excellent, the prices are the best anywhere. I have purchased many items from them through the years. Where else can you buy used equipment with a six month warranty? The only downside is that I never get my emails answered. Best to just pick up the phone and speak with customer service or a sales rep.
KEH also has a presence on ebay as well so it is like shopping in two separate KEH stores. It won't get better than that!

Everything was great, but it would be nice if it were easier to filter for step-up rings by size just like you can for filters rather than having to scan/search. I have enjoyed your site a lot more since I learned about "Back in stock" and "Newly Arrived," but it would be even better if those two were combined together, since both represent things you now have that you did not have as of some other recent time point.
