Booked through Travelzoo so doubly disappointed. Advertised £119. Phoned up expecting it to be a bit dearer, £309 for both so I accepted. Put through to payment department who went through everything and then announced £399 because "everybody always has to pay £45 per person to book a holiday with every company". I was led to believe that deposit payment had already gone through. Well done, you got the better of me and ripped me off, some of it my fault for being stupid. Please please if you are reading this, don't use.

Extremely disappointed as I was allowed to book on to my city break and then received email to say company has been insolvency, curr chasing for my refunds!!!

very poor, have used superbreak for the last 15 years, and had superbreak gift vouchers, i have allways had 10% discount with invitation book, but now if you have gift vouchers you can not have the 10% i will not be buying anymore gift vouchers

Worth upgrading to deluxe which we did - air conditioning is available in these rooms .
Good service , quiet location. Rooms clean and comfortable . Not luxury but got what we paid for and more than happy with the room. Excellent base hotel for sight seeing .

I've booked a clue of times with superbreak. When we booked this trip we tried doing it separately but got nowhere. This put everything together and made it easier. We're going to Birmingham for my daughter to shop at the primark there and for Cadbury world.

I booked a rail inclusive break, however when my rail tickets arrived, despite the fact my enclosed itinerary was via London Waterloo they had sent tickets marked Not Via London . Good job I checked carefully. It took me nearly30 mins on the phone before they understood what they had done and accepted their mistake. Not impressed .

Kate was a model of empathy with the customer (me) and knowledge of her job. Able to offer alternatives without being flustered, even coped admirably when her computer crashed.
I'd tried two other companies before SuperBreak but got tired of their rigidity, so it was a very pleasant surprise to talk to someone who had an unforced, unscripted, pleasant, flexible and mature approach to it all.

Pointless having the child option for children aged 12+ when the beds in the hotels are not suitable for any over this age.
Also, found it very difficult to find any rooms that were twin rather than double. Travelling with my 14 year old son so double rooms not suitable. Also, not many single rooms. It was very time consuming to find anything suitable for my son and myself and another separate room for another adult although I did get there in the end and the booking process itself was simple.
