Avoid at all costs, poor customer service. Myself and people I know have been sent the wrong items or the items never arrived. Thankfully I purchased though Amazon so no problem with a refund. Loads of negative reviews available about this company.

Ordered a longboard £150 Very badly packaged. End damaged piece of top laminate broken off board. Emailed 3 times, sent pictures. No customer service. No reply. Pains me to say it but wish I’d used amazon. Still waiting to hear back. Wont be using again. Wish I’d read the reviews first there’s a reason why it’s over 50% 1 star.

Don't order online. I ordered adjustable inline skates size 5-8. I am a size 5 and it was too small. The product was made in China, I'm not sure about the quality, but would not trust using them on the street. Plus you have to pay to send the items back. Just a waist of time and money.

Awful, 8 year old upset Xmas day right box right order wrong size inside amazon saud seller will exchange on asking they wil not change item this was because the customer is apparently supposed to check the shows something a company can't do themselves? a Xmas gift promoted by a Xmas advert paid in ful by a amazon now selling the shoes so got lucky but on posting on there Facebook they are deleting comments I have two screenshot 15ins apart same pic one with a comment one been deleted but amazon, trading standards now properly aware and I will ruin your January sales hope its worth it for 39 pound kid heartbreakers

Terrible company, I contacted them before my purchase and they replied within an hour, I returned the scooter we brought and after 10 days of them receiving the scooter I contacted them after waiting 2 days for a reply they said they were taking £10 off the price we paid as it had been used. We did not use it as we thought we were purchasing an electric scooter. I had to contact amazon to get my refund the full amount as they wouldn’t provide photos of were they assume it was used.My advise to anybody thinking of purchasing from them is DO NOT.

Poor customer service and poor quality of merchandise.
Ordered Scooter deck
Received late and damaged, obviously used by someone else in the past due to tell-tale marks.
Made contact and initially pleasant and positive,
They accepted that the product was not right and agreed to refund.
Since then I have experienced delay tactics in my view in sending the agreed refund.
“3-7 working days” “Admin Issue” “large amount of xmas returns to deal with” “ funds will be in your account by weekend at the latest”
Going by historic posts on this site and others, I am not the only one experiencing difficulties with this company, and wish my wife had checked before ordering from this company.
My personal recommendations based on my experience to date is Not to use them.

They have absolutely no customer service, they do not bother to reply to your emails, moreover and if you need to return a consignment you will not get any refund !!!!
Be aware that many of their products can be purchase from Tesco however, after you pay TESCO will have nothing to do with it.

Very damaged packaging (ripped, dented, damp and parts of the skate wheel poking through the box) on two boxes of skates. They are Christmas gifts but Kates Skates said packaging is only there for protection. Their returns policy states packaging should not be damaged or you may not get a full refund! Not particularly helpful when I spoke to them and just towed the company line. Told me they are hoping to offer gift wrapping soon, how would that help? If they had been gift wrapped it would have been wrecked! They need to take it up with the courier or package the items better, would never order from them again, the skates surprisingly do not seem damaged but I don't think customer satisfaction is high on their priority list. I have ordered from Proskate, recieved items in pristine condition with fantastic customer service.

I ordered some shoes from Kateskates through Amazon. The item arrived before the expected delivery date and it was as described. When I saw the other Trust Pilot reviews (which are dated) I almost decided to buy elsewhere but they have 98% positive rating on Amazon and so continued with my purchase. That said I think the company should respond to the negative reviews on here and resolve any issues as it will be beneficial and professional to do so. I have not had to deal with the company directly but I am happy with my order and will use Kateskates again in the future.

I bought 2 pairs of roller boots and when they arrived the box from one of the pairs had clearly been damaged before it left the warehouse and had been repaired very badly with sticky tape!
I contacted them to explain what had happened and to arrange an exchange. The skates were bought as a gift and I wanted them to be presentable and not look as though they had come from a discount shop. I was met with a very hostile and rude reception. I was told that the box is merely there to protect the goods in transit and not part of the product! They told me that I would have to cover the cost of the return!
I was totally shocked by their attitude! Luckily I had bought via Tesco direct so I contacted them and they were brilliant and covered the costs for the return. They were also completely dumbfounded by the attitude from Kateskates and have assured me that they will follow this incident up.
I wish I had read these reviews first as I would have given them a miss and shopped elsewhere!

I bought some heelys 08/12/15 for my son for Christmas.
However I did not recieve them and had to buy a pair from the high street. I contacted Kate's skates and told them I had not received them and wanted a refund, they said that Royal Mail would investigate and then give me the refund......it is now 26/01/16 and I ha e just contacted them for the 10th time regarding this, after I have also asked for the manager to call me 2 weeks ago, they are refusing to refund me and still adamant that Royal Mail are investigating this.....
The manager is a joke, will not allow you to speak to her or call you, and the customer service is truly shocking!
Absolutely disgusted I have had to pay twice for heelys and still not had a refund!
Would recommend you to avoid Kate's skates like the plague!!!!
