1 star is too good for this woeful outfit. Customer service non existent. Online contact forms don't get replies. Still waiting for product 9 working days after being despatched. Should have been delivered in 4-5 working days. AVOID THIS OUTFIT AT ALL COSTS.

I purchased some Lash Magnetics, which come a magnetised applicator, well the magnet on the applicator is so strong that the lashes won't magnetise to each other on your lashes. This item is non returnable for obvious reasons, but as they do not work as advertised I asked for a refund and was told no, I have since contacted them a couple of times but have not received a reply. This company does not value it's customers at all. I will not be purchasing from them again.

Be wary of false advertising from this company, I paid extra for next day delivery, they say Mon -Fri £6.95, what they dont tell you is if you order before 2pm as stated on friday you will not recieve your order till Monday, they claim Sat and Sun are not working days, this may have been the case 10years ago, then they send you a email stating they will not refund your delivery, because they fail to tell you these thing first, false advertising, poor company living in dark ages, will not use again.

Never used JML direct before and wont use again. Ordered a mop, yep just a simple mop. 7 days gone by and still not recieved. Took Customer service 3 days to let me know it was despatched 4 days ago. Mmm... not so sure about that. I only ordered from them as I thought they were a reputable established company that provided an efficient service but apparently not. Advised them not to use the Pandemic as an excuse as I've ordered so many items on line and items arrived next day or within 2 days, even 2nd class items. Also if they cant fulfill a simple order then they should shut up shop!!

Absolutely shocking customer service! Tried returning a paint roller pro, which is absolutely useless (dont bother buying) and a snap screen that is absolutely huge, wouldn't stay up properly and was ripped at the top when i brought it! Customer service is messing me around no end even though both products have a 30 day money back guarantee! Shocking company, terrible customer service. Ive Well and truely been ripped of by jml would NEVER buy anything from this company again.

Any comments that say this product is great must be a fake. Don't just take my word for this. Check out the 100's of other reviews on the internet as well. They all say the same thing. I purchased the Instachill thinking it was going to be great. It's a glorified fan and nothing more. Save your money and buy a fan, or invest in a more professional air conditioning unit. The water lasts around 4 hours before requiring top up. It does not chill the air at all. The cooling grills do not cool the air as suggested, so this is false advertising. Some sites suggest adding ice to the water. Great, once the ice melts, you are left with warm air being circulated, especially on the hot days we are having now. It's very noisy and flimsy. Don't waste your money. It does not chill the air. You've been warned.

Ordered 3 as they came highly recommended but have to say they are now in my bin!!!!! Such shoddy workmanship with hems not being stitched properly and magnets that are way, way too heavy for the material. Without exception, magnets fell off of the screens and when clipped back on, kept falling off. Top hems not stitched properly resulting in screens coming away from hems which were still attached to door frame by velcro strips. All in all, I most definitely do not recommend ....not a happy chappy, I'm afraid!!! Have emailed jml directly and told them of my complaint.....now await their response!

Utterly terrible company. Bought an air cooler for my daughter. It is huge - fine if it did what it said - and sounds like Concord (not advertised or mentioned). Worse, after two days use in her study, it seemed to do nothing more than a big fan. Yes, it is lovely if you stand directly in front of it - but so is a fan. It definitely does not cool the room down by the 10+ degrees advertised. I cannot believe they don't get done for false advertising. They will be, if I have anything to do with it. To test the product and see if we were being reasonable (it having appeared to cool no air at all in my daughters study over the two days it has been in there) we put the unit in her bedroom on full for 4 hours. On opening the room afterwards we were hit by a wall of boiling air; the rest of the house (just from open windows) was cooler. On calling to request return I was met with resistance, questions - have I got it turned up full (yes), have I tried using iced water (yes, in fact we did but it is incredibly hard to ice 8 LITRES of water). I was then told that I had said it was not blowing out much air - which is absolutely not what I said. It blows out cool air which you can feel if you stand three feet away from it. And I'm sure that air is some degrees below what it sucks in (so is the air coming out of a fan). However, it does NOT cool the room and the fan effect of a fan blown air at you is also cooling. I had explained it was in a small room and had not cooled that so we moved it to another room to test it. I was then told that JML do not recommend it was used in small rooms and it should not have been tested there. The room it was tested in is by no means small - 6m by 6m with a very high ceiling - and the study it was in is also a double bedroom (small[er]) which, to be fair, I did describe as 'small' - it is probably 4.5 x 4 metres but, on reviewing the video, online, the study is certainly significantly larger than the study shown in which the chiller is being used. Further, I do not recall the adverts saying you cannot use in a 'small room' nor any detail as to what 'small' is. I suspect that many other customers, especially the elderly, would have been put off or bamboozled and have decided they had no choice but to keep the product. This is utterly disgraceful by way of a tactic on the part of this company. I was then told I had to pay return postage because it was my expectations that were too high! My daughter was listening and asked the rep if she would expect that for £200 the air in a room whether she would expect that the air would be noticeably cooler after FOUR hours or whether she might think the product was not of "satisfactory quality" in accordance with consumer regulations (she is a lawyer). The rep then said she would send a postage label but that if the product was tested and not found faulty then I would have to pay the £8 return postage. It then became clear that I was expected to drop the unit off at a newsagent which you cannot drive to - in the middle of the high street. It is a third of a mile away and I am over 70 years old and disabled. I cannot possibly walk it that far and my daughter has a very bad back and left knee and neither can she do so. We were simply told that JML do not arrange collection for such large items. Again, I was unhappy - rightly so. This item is falsely advertised and/or faulty and does not do what it shows on the misleading videos on the TV and online. It does not cool a room. My daughter advised that they have an obligation to collect since the product was delivered and is being returned as of poor quality/faulty and eventually they agreed - but only after questioning me about whether I could get anybody (my daughter included) to help me. Disgusting.

Bought CHILLMAX PERSONAL AIR COOLER - What a joke! I really thought I was subject to a practical joke: £39 for something that only offers a very light breeze (on highest noisy setting after required part was in freezer) - you cannot be further than 1 feet away and only the 4 square inches of your body that is in front of the grid will feel the slight breeze. My pound shop USB laptop plug in fan works better. Bought at 4 pm on Friday and returned at 9 am Saturday.

I have been buying JML products for many years, just not from this website. Never again will I buy from the website. Received two damaged, clearly used items. Customer service will not collect, and I will not go out to return as I am scared due to coronvirus. Scraped by wear and tear, and with a faded by age crushed box came one lamp. The other lamp had a partially removed safety seal from box, and a scraped off sticker still attached on the actual lamp. Customer services say they don't take returns back into that department. I clearly have received returned goods?

JML finishing touch flawless - devil in the shape of a lipstick. They say you get don’t get a stubble. Not only do I have a stubble my hair is growing back at x4 the rate of before. Every other day and I look like a I have a massive stubble.
It’s disappointing, upsetting because now I am worried I have done more harm than good.
Worst of all I bought 2 and gave it to my mum and she had had the exact same problem. My mum and nieces have tried it and again same thing.
You will be heartbroken when you see how your face looks. It’s upsetting. You feel like a young man growing into his facial hair. I can’t say this strongly enough AVOID AVOID AVOID

Defective product with inherent problem of light turning on but vibration does not! The main action of this is to descale and the vibration doesn’t work!!
Should have read the reviews as this problem is very widespread!! Even an online blogger reviewed this product and had exactly the same issue! She said in the history of reviewing this was the first time one had failed! Shame on you JML.

Manager Jane was hopeless and dismissive even trying to blame the battery. Told me the instructions state to press button twice.. when I challenged her on this as instructions don’t! She put me on hold then came back and said she couldn’t find instructions!!! Anyway does not work even when pressed twice.

Do not buy from this company. I placed an order and clicked on £2.99 delivery. I noticed they had charged me £6.95 for next day delivery. I called customer service and was then told they didn’t know why that happened and because it was after 2.30 I would not get next day delivery anyway! They refused to refund me the extra postage and were very rude. Avoid JML at all costs!

Terrible terrible customer service from JML Singapore. Customer service would not let me finish talking because she is just an operator (her words, not mine) and has many calls to pick up. I asked if she could just give me a min to finish up but she told me not to waste my breath because I will need to repeat when customer service calls me back (She is suppose to be customer service though...). Frustrated that she keeps interrupting me, I raised my voice to ask her to let me complete my sentence and she told me to mind my manners. Where is her manners when she kept cutting me off?
Why sell when you cannot deliver? Ordered 3 pillows but only 2 arrived. Called in within 10 mins of delivery on Thursday but was told that customer service will call me back the next day, which obviously was a lie. Tried to call many times on Friday but the line always disengage after waiting on the line for a while. Called in on Monday and was told off by customer service (above). Guess I paid money to learn a lesson, DO NOT BUY FROM JML.
